Overview
Storefjell Resort Hotel is located next to Storefjell Ski and Sledging Centre, only 20 km from central Gol. Guests can enjoy free private parking and access to the pool, gym and sauna access. All air-conditioned guest rooms at Storefjell Resort have a TV and a minibar as well as free Wi-Fi. Guest rooms overlook the surrounding terrain. There is a weekend restaurant that is also open during certain peak periods offering an à la carte menu. Packed lunches are available on request. The resort has a ski storage room, a children’s playground and a games room where guests can play table tennis and billiards. The surrounding area offers excellent skiing, cycling and fishing opportunities. Other popular activities among guests include day trips to Langedrag Nature Park, the Hardangervidda National Park and the Jotunheimen Mountains. Gol station is 20 minutes' drive away and shuttle service is available upon request.

Very Nordic, Viking vibe with all the comforts you could ask for and staff were very helpful, chatty and laughed a lot (which I liked)! Food was brilliant- with the Nordic style, delicious

“Avoid at all cost!”
Worst stay of our Norway trip: one room had dirty sheets and a dirty toilet; the other had a dangerously low, unmarked ceiling—our 80-year-old father hit his head twice—and torn bedding. Pool area was neglected (no towels/slippers, filthy pool with brown sediment, broken jacuzzi) and the restaurant served poor food (béarnaise clearly reheated, discolored and so thick it wouldn’t pour), with the menu mostly in Norwegian. Reception promised dinner “on the house” then covered only one meal, enforced a no-room-charge policy, and the owner banged on our door at 22:15 accusing us of not paying—an appalling way to treat guests.

Lovely and helpfull staff. Got an upgraded room for the same price after booking in the last minute. Good facilities. Quiet room. It has indoor pool and jacuzzi. Recommended.
