“Hidden gem!”
We went for a weekend trip with family to visit Efteling and we did not expect much but wow, what a place. In the middle of the forest, next to a garden and field with horses. The hotel is in the old building next to a chappel, it's perfect in it's imperfections. If you are a fan on local, cozy and sightly magical vibe, you will feel at home.

“Quite uniqe experience in the middle of nowhere.”
Breakfast was fine, but somewhat basic. The location is great for bikers travelling the countryside. Spending the night in the cloister has its own atmosphere. The surrounding area is very nice and calm. We could store our bikes in the shed in the back, which helped a lot.

The room is exactly as what I'd expect from a hotel. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, clean and quiet. The location is also pleasant, in nature and away from busy life.

They dont accept 100 Euro. You will eat there dinner for 80.- Euro and they dont accept 100 Euro......They dont write this in the Hotel Rules.

“Personnel: Perfect. Except for the person who gave us that room 13.”
Discovered it was a convent. The breakfast was perfect for me. Good effectively for à marriage and invitees. I don’t drink but the bar area was charming in the evening when I arrived. Nice environment. Having a walk around the Church and convent can be relaxing.

“Best avoided if you want a good night's sleep...”
Minuscule room under the roof was very hot and infested with mosquitos (counted the 12th at 3am) so couldn't open the window. Also the floorboards immediately outside the room were extremely creaky whenever someone walked over them which happened frequently until very late at night and from very early in the morning. Wrote to the management about this but never heard back.

This was more than just a budget no name hotel. This was an experience of a convent, with church, with atmosphere, with a garden and a forest, and with great breakfast.
