Authentic farm stay with friendly hosts. Very spacious apartment with comfortable beds and enormous modern bathroom. Outside braai with wood supplied. Lovely friendly dogs, especially Simba. Space to walk around and look at farm animals, beautiful shady garden.

The hosts are wonderful, generous people and make you feel instantly welcome and at home. They kindly invited us to freely enjoy the farm life and we had a great time walking around and seeing all the animals. The fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden and cooling off in the beautiful swimming pool were really appreciated. The apartment has everything you need for comfort including a big bathtub and outdoor seating area for morning coffee and an evening braai. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and want to experience life on an authentic Namibian farm, you will not find anywhere more special than this. I highly recommend you spend a few days at the Hippo !

Located on outside of town on farm which is nice and quiet. Great bathtub. Cozy even though it was a really cold night.

The quiet nights listening to the owls and farm sounds. And the perfect for stargazing evening.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Well equipped kitchen, including filter coffee machine . Braai facilities. Close to main road. Real value for money. I could buy airtime voucher and was helped to get MTC going on my phone.
