The room was great. The balcony had a view to the river. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was extremely convenient and close to every place we visited.

The owner was so friendly! The room was very spacious, with balcony and kitchen. Flawlessly clean. The location is great, and the restaurant is directly at the Acheron river. Alot of space for parking. Good food. All in all I would love to go back!

The three nights I spent at this hotel were truly unforgettable. An excellent hotel located by the beautiful Acheron River. The breakfast was far better than we had expected. The spirit of traditional Greek filoxenia is very much alive here.

We experienced exceptional hospitality from both generations of the family who own the hotel. They were incredibly kind, always checking in to see if we needed anything, and eager to offer directions and recommendations for places to visit. The location is fantastic — the hotel sits right by the river, near the rafting area, and is only 30 minutes to an hour’s drive from many major attractions. There’s a tavern and a café right below the hotel, which is especially convenient for families with young children. I highly recommend Acherontas Hotel for families and anyone looking to explore the region with minimal driving. A heartfelt thank you to Acherontas Hotel for the wonderful hospitality!

“Great location on the banks of the Acheron River with comfortable room and tasty breakfast”

This was the best breakfast we had during our week in mainland Greece. No kidding - there were about 9 different breakfast items piled on our table including three different types of pie, croissants, juice, cake, yoghurt, fruit and omelette as well as any type of coffee on demand. The bedroom was a good size with a balcony overlooking the car park and scrupulously clean The location is just fabulous and dining at the riverside was a real pleasure.

The location of the rooms is one of a kind. It feels amazing to be so close to Acherontas river,and be able to have breakfast or dine right next to crystal clear running water. The staff were all really welcoming and helpful, especially Georgia who really went out of her way to accommodate all our needs. Really polite and friendly all of the People we met, quiet and peaceful area , amazing food, good prices.

Incredibly friendly staff, fresh made breakfast (instead of typical stale buffet), location was perfect, easy parking, very quiet location, very clean everywhere throughout, great shower, great AC, our dog was very happy - perfect view of the river.

Absolutely stunning views, lovely clean rooms and fantastic staff! Acherontas is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been in Greece and this Hotel is situated right on the river. We had a delicious meze breakfast at the hotel sat at the tables that are 1ft away from the water - picturesque!
