Beautiful small cabins that fit in well with the surrounding nature scape. Orientation made good use of the lovely view over Lake Wakatipu. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Clean with some thoughtful touches (e.g., insect cream in dispenser, organic teas). Cosy cafe for breakfast with nice coffee and friendly staff. Close to some great walks (e.g., Lake Sylvan) and an ideal base for tackling day walks on the Routeburn Track.

This property was really unique; the eco rooms were very high tech but very comfortable. Breakfast was good. When it is recommended you take sandfly repellant, good to follow the guidance. I didn't and the little buggers found a strip of flesh above my socks and below my leggings and had a great meal!! The location was also great for walking on the Routeburn Track.

Lovely location and really nicely equipped. Bed a bit narrow but this is common for New Zealand. Food in the restaurant was fantastic as was breakfast.

The lodge has beautiful mountain view. The staff were friendly. We met with the owner when we were having breakfast. She is so friendly. We only stayed for 2 nights. Wish we stayed there longer. Breakfast was delicious. I requested a small of salad on my breakfast and the chef added in. Thank you so much , we really enjoyed our stay.
