Set in Glen Rose, 8km from Dinosaur Valley State Park, Inn on the River offers accommodations that allow people to disconnect from the modern world while enjoying the conveniences of a restaurant, free private marketing, bar and a lawn area that overlooks the Paluxy River. As a historic Texas landmark, our rooms provide private bath, individual climate control, ceiling fans and antique furnishings. Note our rooms do not have TV, telephones and Guests at our property will enjoy a full plated breakfast daily. Guests at the Inn will be able to enjoy numerous activities at the property and in and around Glen Rose including kayaking, fishing, hiking, shopping.

“A wonderful stay at a true B&B”
I absolutely loved our time here at a real B&B. It feels like what they used to be and should be but so hard to find these days. Family friendly staff and hospitality with a beautiful cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable, the loungers by the lake was the perfect spot to relax with a book. It was a peaceful and relaxing getaway from Dallas which is exactly what I wanted. I really hope to visit again someday.

“We loved our stay at The Inn!”
The location was perfect. We wanted to see the dinosaur tracks at the state park and it was a short drive there. The Inn was like staying in someone's home. Very welcoming and comfortable. The Inn had two sweet dogs that greeted us upon our arrival. The owner was friendly and attentive to all our questions. The breakfast was amazing and so was the coffee. Our room was so clean, cool and comfortable. I am so glad we stayed here.
