The staff was so kind, professional and familiar helping you with everything (laundry service, taxi, shuttle service). The rooms big, very new and clean. Amazing views on the sea! Good rental car availiable, simple reservation process. Totally recommending!

Amazing view from a very nice and large balcony, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very nice and the location is excellent (very close to Beau Vallon and even closer to one of our favourite beaches on the island). Facilities were great, cleaning was done every day, and we had all the basic amenities we required during our stay. Overall a wonderful and peaceful stay.

The hotel rooms were spacious and airy, with large balconies, and everything needed was nicely available in the room. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. I really liked the customer-oriented approach — if you want to rent a car, even just for one day (which many rental companies don’t offer), you can do it directly through the hotel. You can also have breakfast and dinner there if you wish, which is very convenient. Another thing I liked was that there are many bats around the hotel, which are interesting to watch, and just across the road from the hotel there is a great beach for snorkeling.

A perfect gem with great hospitality, amazing views of the ocean and clean facilities. The warm lady Cecil and our host Ishaq were amazing. The welcome dinner was so hearty, felt like home. I would visit again. Also loved how easy car hiring with them was and the airport transfers included in the hire at affordable prices.

Really nice place to stay. The view from the villa outstanding, the small and cosy beach just 5 min walk, breakfast was good- we got every morning plate of fresh fruits, eggs or pancakes. We also order one evening dinner- we enjoyed dinner, service, and food. The owner lady- really nice and warm person, makes us feel welcome. Overall -nice place to stay. Would recommend 💯 %

We had an unforgettable stay at Sunbird Villas and honestly can’t recommend it enough. The room is cozy, well maintained, and extremely clean. It also has air conditioning and a balcony, which we really appreciated. Beach towels and regular towels are provided and changed regularly. If needed, you can even have your laundry done for a small tip, which is very convenient. The service and the staff are flawless — incredibly attentive and always helpful. Breakfast is generous and very tasty, and we also tried the dinner option once, which was good. The warmth and flexibility shown by Cecile and her team during the currently challenging political situation cannot be emphasized enough. They truly go above and beyond for their guests. We also really liked the location. Beau Vallon, with many restaurants and food options, is only a short drive away, and Tusculum Beach is even within walking distance for a quick swim. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. Staying here is a 10/10 experience from start to finish and leaves nothing to be desired. We would come back anytime.

We spent 14 wonderful days here with my wife. If you’re not looking for a 5-star hotel but rather a charming place with a warm, family atmosphere in a stunning location, this is the perfect choice. There are several beautiful beaches nearby, and Victoria is just 8 km away by car or bus (with a stop right next to the property). Breakfast was excellent—every day we got exactly what we wanted. Thanks to Cecile and her amazing team, our holiday was truly unforgettable, with breathtaking sunsets right from the balcony.

Our experience: We stayed at Sunbird Villas, Glacis (Mahé, Seychelles) for 14 days and it was perfect from start to finish. The hospitality here comes from the entire team, always warm, attentive and natural. Highlights: Views & location: Incredible ocean view, peaceful and very private, yet close to beautiful beaches like Tusculum Beach and Sunset Beach. Creole cuisine: Every evening we could add a freshly cooked, authentic Creole dinner for 25 EUR per person, simply confirming by midday. This made planning easy and flexible — perfect for either going out or relaxing at the villa. The food was absolutely outstanding, and breakfast with fresh tropical fruits every morning was a treat. Hospitality: Cecile is the heart of the villas — always taking time for guests, sharing great local tips and a joy to talk to. You feel the difference immediately. Service & facilities: Ashim is a true multi-talent — housekeeping pro and facility all-rounder who supports the property with skill and calmness. But everything runs so smoothly because a great team works together here. Our apartment was always spotless, and special requests were handled effortlessly. Early trip support: The team prepared lunch boxes instead of breakfast for early excursions — very thoughtful and guest-focused. Laundry service: Our laundry was washed during the stay — an exceptionally attentive touch we truly appreciated. Conclusion: A place where everything works because the team cares, thinks and delivers together — not because one person does it all. For us 10/10 — we would return anytime and recommend Sunbird Villas without hesitation.

Thanks to everyone from the Sunbird Villas Team - you were amazing hosts. We spent a few days in one of the Seaview appartements: modern, spacious, clean, wonderful sea view. The whole staff was exceptionally friendly and always there to help with literally everything. They were even waiting for us at 5 in the morning to bring us with our luggage to the taxi with a golf cart, even there were just a few metres to walk. Cécile even was there at this early time to say good buy. We had dinner there twice - delicious and creative. Also breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

A nice hotel. Very homey. The staff is helpful. Cecile and the team are always interested in how you are doing and if everything is okay. If you need anything, they are always ready to help. It was convenient to book a car at the hotel; it was delivered the next day. Cecile will also help you book a transfer to the airport at a good price (cheaper than at the airport). It is always clean, the room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is delicious, with a choice of eggs or pancakes, coffee from the coffee maker, and fresh fruit every day. Dinner at the hotel is also delicious, but not like in a restaurant, but home-cooked. The fish and meat are excellent. The beach across the road is very small; we were attacked by dogs there. It is better to visit Sunset Beach or Beau Vallon. There are many private houses near the hotel, so you can constantly hear dogs barking and roosters crowing. It makes you feel like you are in the countryside, haha. It is also quite a steep climb up the hill to the hotel, but you know what you are getting into. The view from your bed directly onto the sea is magnificent. I also agree with the comment about the dim lighting. Room 19 gets very dark in the evenings, making the sofa and bed area feel uninviting. Perhaps the light bulbs should be replaced with bright, warm ones, like in the bathroom? Also, there was no blanket in the room, only a thin bedspread. Maybe blankets aren't customary in the Seychelles, but I felt uneasy. Overall, the accommodations were excellent. Best of luck!

“We enjoyed our stay”

Fantastic location on the side of the mountain, with an amazing ocean view from the balcony. A large and comfortable bed. Friendly service; rooms are kept clean on a daily basis. Good breakfast. In case you have an evening flight, they also offer an opportunity to leave your luggage there for the day and you can come back later to have a shower before going to the airport. This gives you an extra beach day. Would definitely come back! Please be aware of the steep climb to the villas. It’s nothing you can’t manage, but this way it won’t come as a surprise.
