We had great days!! It is a wonderful place to stay with everything you need. There is a great beach to snorkel just a few minutes from the house and you can easily explore the island by car. And the pool was very nice for some relaxation. Lydia was always there to answer questions or to give some advice. Let her know in advance if you wanna rent a car. She will help you.

When you imagine your vacation at a place as beautiful as the Seychelles, this is what you imagine. And some things you probably couldn't even imagine. Casa Doro is a special place, with a special host. We've spent 8 amazing days here, and I only regret we didn't have more time. We've been traveling with booking.com for years, visiting many countries and staying at many lovely accommodations, but nothing came close to what we experienced here. I won't go into detail about what made our stay here so special, as it would just be listing superlatives. I'll just highly recommend Casa Doro to everyone, and let you experience it yourself. We’ve had an amazing holiday. We love the place so much, the sunsets and the food she cooked for us. Lydia has been so amazing, welcoming and caring that made us feel like at home since the day one. Definitely a place to come back and we shall :)

Casa D'Oro was like a home away from home. Lydia, the host, is wonderful. She makes you feel at home and loads you up with loads of fresh fruits from her garden. We were welcomed with coconut water (which was easily among the best I've had). Our fridge was also neatly stocked with bread, butter, jam, and eggs. The view from the villa is exceptional and the private pool is oh-so-amazing. Will definitely come back here!

A wonderful place on the mountainside. Here you can enjoy magnificent sunsets and birds singing, as well as a very beautiful garden with orchids. It is so secluded here that you will hardly want to leave this place. There is also a large and clean pool on the territory, in which it is pleasant to swim in the middle of a hot day. I would like to note that except for you and the owners, there will be no one else in the villa, this is super. Well, the main thing is the people, we have never met such a warm welcome as in this place! They helped us with car rental, with problems that arose and in general with everything! We are really happy that we chose this accommodation. This is our second time in the Seychelles and we have been to more than one accommodation, but we liked this one the most. If you need peace and quiet, then this is definitely for you. Renting a car is very desirable to comfortably move to shops and beaches. “The ideal accommodation for couples and small families with a rental car.”

The sense of seclusion from and accessibility to everything else, with a rental car, of course, especially to Sunset Beach, which we loved. Excellent location, private garden, swimming pool, gorgeous ocean and sunset views, wonderful and caring hostess! Lydia gave recommendations on which places to visit, where to eat local cuisine. She met us at the port and took us to the airport. She cooked us a very delicious dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, there were breakfast items in the fridge and cold water for drinking. Spacious shower room. The apartments are very nice and cozy. It's a very emotional place for us. We'll be back again!

Friendliest host. Most amazing pool with the best view. Loveliest garden. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and large TV. Lydia had in store for us some bread,jam,coffe capsules and milk (a big thing in Seychelles) Lydia's home-cooked dinner was a real highlight and culinary delight. We really enjoyed our stay during day and night. Peaceful neighbourhood and big garden. Secure parking with a gate. Memories in Casa Doro will stay with us forever.

Lydia is an exceptional host and made our stay at her place an unforgettable experience. We felt welcomed and very well taken care of. The place has an amazing view over the west coast of the main island. If you have a chance and Lydia finds time to prepare a dinner for you, don't think twice - I bet you will not find any better place to eat in any of the nearby restaurants.

Lydia’s house is a gem! Absolutely stunning! The house is perfectly clean, new and curated in every single detail. It was for me much better than expected. The bed is very very comfortable ( topper and double pillows for person). The view from the bed is on the ocean with a breathtaking sunset view. Moreover, Lydia left in the house for us any good for breakfast, so that you can have breakfast in the house. She also provided a nespresso coffe machine with the coffee capsules, for a nice espresso. Another relevant thing: she cooked for us a creole dinner that was hands down the best meal in seychelles. A tuna carpaccio, fried eggplants,mango salad, papaya side and chicken curry to die for! Lydia is one of the nicest and most generous person you can meet, and you will feel more than welcome in her house. It was a pleasure meeting her. The house is located 5 mins walk from the prettiest beach on Mahe (sunset beach) that is very private and incredibly beautiful (nice for snorkeling as well). Hands down the best place to stay in Mahe! Very recommended!
