“Four days in paradise.”
This is a fantastic place near everything : Gjirokaster, Libohova, Monastery, Antigonea, Cajupi Valley and much more. Asim Zenel village is a great place to stay. Vila Shametaj also is much more than a hotel, is a family business where you fil home. Is not just hospitality and food, they put their hard in everything they do for you. Cleanness is exceptional. Everything they put on the table is fresh from their garden. Grandma an extraordinary strong woman, takes care of the garden. We enjoyed this stay more than staying in Gjirokaster. The last day the owner gave us a ride to the bus station in Gjirokaster which was very kind of him. We came like visitors and we left like friends. But we will be back for sure. Thank you from our hard for this unforgettable experience!

“The warm and friendly hostess, she did her best to help us with what we wanted, everything was spotl”
The breakfast is delicious traditional fried dough, which is very rich with a variety of homemade jams. It is so enjoyable to enjoy the picture-like scenery of Gjirokaster on the beautiful large terrace! Although the location is not in the city center, the road is very easy for a self-driving car. The beautiful villa is spotlessly clean! If you live in the center of the old city, it is a test for the driver's skills!

“The ultimate expression of Albanian accommodation”
Travellers have places, moments, landscapes and, above all, people that you will always carry with you. In Vila Shametaj all of them are fulfilled. Lona, the location of the village and the Girokastra valley combine to form an explosive cocktail. We enjoyed our stay in the impeccable rooms, the breakfasts on the terrace are like a movie, and the owner is incredibly sweet. I will be back Lona.

“beautifully located villa for genuine rest”
The villa is brand new and with excellent beds. Nature is amazing and we had the best sleep in weeks! Our breakfast was served on a balcony overlooking the valley and was a traditional Albanian one. Amazing discovery!
