“Wonderfully located in the old city”

Location is so wonderfully fabulous. Deep in the old town. Our host Else, met our every need and was always on hand to give us an extra toilet roll or piece of local history. He is always pleasant and kind. The Vila Eri is really central to all the main attractions BUT is so located in the old city that driving to it and finding a parking space can be difficult. This can be overcome by phoning the owner 10 mins before arrival so that he can drive or guide you into a safe space. The actual lodgings are historic, yet comfortable with all mod cons, however the wifi can be rather weak at times.

Quiet location, view from the rooftop was amazing. Breakfast was simple and okay. Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. The room is nice, the view is wonderful. The big terrace was a good place to exercise yoga under the morning sun, hehe. Or to ejoy a glass of wine in the evening. The breakfast was tasty. The stuff was friendly and they helped us with the parking. We reccomend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Eri. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Having our homemade breakfast in the yard was one of the highlights of our stay.

Lovely location, beautiful property and fabulous hosts. Host went out of their way to help me retrieve some sentimental items i had forgotten at the property. The breakfast was delicious and appreciated the fresh fruit. Lovely location, however I recommend taking a taxi if you have luggage as the walk is quite steep.

We had a warm welcome in a very beautiful and nicely renovated antique house. The view on the trasse is amazing. You see the whole town. We had a very nice and abandanous breakfast. It is not far away from the old castle where you can park. It was a very nice stay and the hosts where very nice People!

My room was lovely and very quiet, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and considerate and prepared a delicious breakfast, even on my last day when I needed to leave at 6:30! I especially loved the view and fresh breezes up on the rooftop patio area, from which you can see the castle, old town, and enormous valley in which Gjirokaster is situated.

Perfect location, 5-10 mins from the center but nevertheless in a quiet part of the city. The terrace on the rooftop offers a breathtaking view.

“Tranquil and homely stay in the mountains”

An amazing historical building renovated by the host Eri, the roads were difficult to park on so he came down and parked our car for us which was so helpful. Gorgeous views and fruit trees surrounded the small guesthouse and was a 5 min walk into the main part of gjirokaster. A homemade breakfast was made for you with fresh fruit and eggs every morning which was a lovely start to the day. Highly reccomend!

Accommodation in the old town, plenty of character, plenty of communal space. Especially loved taking breakfast in the garden. The host came to meet us in the street when our driver was unsure of the location. Large room. Lots of renovations have been carried out to make the place the ideal stay. Super close to all the sightseeing places, but still super quiet area.

Nice room with beautiful view. After arriving by autobus, we even got picked up. Nice picnic areas. Hotel in a quiet area, we did not even hear, when the window was opened. But in max. 10 mins walking distance to the bazar. Fresh fruits for breakfast.

Everything was perfect! This hotel is family-owned and everyone was so nice, helpful and welcoming. The room was bright, spacious, had comfortable bed, good shower, and good internet and working A/C. Short walk to the town’s Bazar where you’ll find all the action. Make sure to bring cash, as you won’t be able to pay anywhere with card. They do take Euro everywhere at market rate. In the morning we were served a lovely breakfast at Vila Eri. Hosts provided us with the best service possible and we had a great stay, would definitely recommend!

The room was as described, newly renovated and nice, with a good mattress and bathroom. The location is perfect if you wanna be close to the old town but in a quiet area. The view from the terrasse is really nice, you overview the city, including the castle. The owners were friendly and helpful - thanks a lot!
