We had a wonderful stay in Gjirokastër. The staff were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even helped carry our luggage up what felt like six flights of stairs, which was greatly appreciated. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and delicious food each morning. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and comfortable, and the luxurious bathtub was a real highlight after a day of exploring. The location is excellent—close to everything, yet peaceful. There is a convenient shortcut that takes you into the Old Town in about seven minutes on foot, making it easy to explore all that Gjirokastër has to offer. We would highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

The best bed I’ve had in Albania! I slept like a baby. Very nice bathrooms, well located. The breakfast was outstanding! They kept coming with more plates and it was just a perfect well balanced breakfast. The staff were amazing! Can we come back already? ☺️

Our stay here was amazing! From the super helpful and friendly staff, to the clean and cozy room! The location is ideal to go to center by foot and the view on the valley is nice. Best breakfast was had in Albania, on the terrace with the sun! The building is well renovated while keeping the original spirit. Thank you!

Beautiful restored building with excellent service. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. A huge room with great views and a good bathroom. A lovely terrace to sit outside and have a drink. Amazing breakfast and you can have an excellent evening meal too.

The hotel was recently renovated in 2023, the rooms, restaurant, and facilities were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was large and delicious. The view from the restaurant patio was lovely and we enjoyed drinks and relaxing from there. Staff was helpful in guiding us to the hotel, helping us unload luggage, then the owner took our car and parked it down the hill. The location was great, as conveniently located to the castle and old town as possible, although a steep walk on cobble stones is still required to get there.

Absolutely amazing stay. This hotel exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect very close to the old town, only around 10 minutes walking distance, but still peaceful and quiet with incredible panoramic views over the mountains and the valley. The hotel itself is beautiful, extremely clean, stylish, and very well maintained. You can really feel the care and attention to detail everywhere: from the rooms to the terrace areas and traditional stone architecture. The combination of authentic local style with modern comfort is done perfectly. The staff were genuinely wonderful incredibly kind, welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. You feel more like a guest in someone’s beautiful home than in a hotel. Their hospitality made the whole experience even more special. And the breakfast… honestly one of the highlights of my entire Albania trip. Fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and served with a breathtaking view over the mountains. Sitting there in the morning with coffee, fresh juice, local food, and that scenery was unforgettable. The room was spotless, very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. Slept perfectly. The atmosphere of the whole place feels calm, warm, and authentic. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. One of those rare places that actually looks even better in real life than in the photos.

The room was extremely clean and we loved the decorations across the hotel. It felt homely and the breakfast was lovely! It's only a short 10 minute walk from the city centre which made it easy to explore the area. Also a short drive away from nice wineries. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us with our bags as the hotel is up a flight of stairs and there is also no lift in the property.

“An excellent stay”

Fantastic location and the staff were great. The breakfast was delicious.

We left today and I already want to came back!! Very cozy family hotel, made in traditional style house. To have a breakfast with amazing view and very generous portions was just perfect!! All staff super friendly, and you can see that they are honestly trying that you would feel as welcome as possible in the hotel. Our room was small but very cozy, clean had all necesarry things, everything seemd quite new. Location, a bit far from old town, but the route was not so hard to get there, and owner showed and explained where the way to reach it easier. I would rate 11 from 10!!!

We had an amazing time there. The room was very nice. The hotel is within walking distance from the old town and castle. Amazing views from the hotel terrace, we had a glass of wine in the evening and breakfast in the morning there. This is something you will never forget.
