Fabulous location in the heart of the old city. Absolutely stunning view from our bedroom window. Beautifully renovated building. Really friendly, welcoming and informative staff. (Owner) Walter's city tour was excellent and gave real insight into the history of the city. Great breakfast. Spacious, well-equipped communal areas inside and out. Numerous good local restaurants.

Stone city hostel it's a clean and warming hostel that makes you feel welcome ! I loved the breakfast the super staff and the location just in the hart of the old city center!

My oh my, I can’t speak more positively about this hostel — it was the best hostel experience I had in Albania, and the managers and volunteers made it all so special! The breakfast in the morning and everyone sharing it around the table, talking about their travels and adventures, was a really great time I will cherish for a lifetime. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I ended up going rafting in Përmet and then continuing on to Krujë. Thank you so much for your hospitality, guidance, and all the help with getting around Southern Albania and onward to Greece. This was one of the best-run hostels for travellers I’ve ever stayed at. So inspirational and informative.

I never ever gave an accomodation only 10’s. This hostel is amazing. - Great location - Lovely staff, helpful, kind, friendly - Hostel is SUPER clean - Rooms are very nice, beds/sheets are very good - Breakfast is super cosy and more than enough - They have a groupschat and an activity every day (very nice to meet some wonderful people) - Price is VERY good - I could go in forever…

“Exceptional stay & warm hospitality”

This is the best hostel & hotel that I have stayed in my 6 months of travelling. Extremely clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen & social area to hang out in & cook if needed. Included breakfast is excellent. Owner Walter & his team are fantastic hosts and make you feel so welcome & comfortable. Walter is so knowledgeable of the local area and suggests multiple excursions you can do. He also runs some walking tours around the local town/area. I had a private room with en-suite and it was perfect. Beautiful views of the valley & castle from the windows. Just book it you won’t regret it

The hostel has a central location right on the edge of where the restaurants and bars start. The six bed dorm was quite at night and had a fantastic view of the fortress. Breakfast was superb! The bed was comfy, and everything was very clean. People, including staff and the owner, were nice and helpful. I would return!

Everything! Walter and the volunteers were so lovely. We went on an actually free walking tour with Walter. Breakfast was great, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and there were lots of them. It was shoulder season but it was still easy to meet people in the common area. Location is central
