“Charm and character await you in Berat”

This is a 500 year old stone house so you can't beat the character. At first I was disappointed not to have a kitchen but the hosts gave us access to the outdoor firepit and basement "kitchen". Breakfasts were delicious and while we couldn't communicate easily through a shared language, our hosts were extremely accommodating and welcomed us to their home.

Beautiful home, spotlessly clean. The host is very kind and made delicious breakfasts for us every morning. Location is great - within short walking distance to the old town, Ali Pasha bridge, the castle and family run restaurants.

“Nice day in Gjirokastra”

The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was perfect. Location is very good. About 10 minutes light walk with children(5 - 10 - 14) to the castle or the old Basar.

Very authentic place beneath the house of the owner, which is a nice person! Great entrance with lots of flowers and a lovely place for breakfast or as hangout. Quite a lot of space and lots of rooms. +They have a garage for a car

You sleep in a traditional Albanian property, which is great The sweetest people run this guesthouse, they even did some laundry for us. They are really kind and make you feel welcome.

Our hosts Mehmet and Narla were beautiful, friendly and hospitable people. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment gave us a wonderful taste of traditional Gjirokaster living. Comfy beds, plenty of space and clean facilities. Breakfasts were sensational, made by Narla from fresh local produce.

Extrem friendly hosts. Very nice location on the hill, very nice to sit outside in the garden. To town 20 mins walk Superb breakfast. Very cheap A small downside, 2 of the 3 rooms are a bit dark

“A nice stay in Gjirokaster”

It's the perfect place to stay a few days with a group or with your family. The place is very comfortable and cozy, decorated in an antique and traditional way. From the front door there is an incredible view of the mountains. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the traditional breakfeast they gave us was amazing and homemade with love.
