“Lovely house, great location”
Lovely building with a terrace with fabulous views over the town. Spacious room with character, a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Very central location, near the castle and the bazaar. Helpful and friendly host.

Wonderful view, very helpful and nice owner! He helped us with luggage and went with us to get the car when we got lost (easy to do in Gjirokaster) - thank you again!. And we had literally a royal breakfast there!

I loved the peace that came with the accomodation, the sound of birds and view of the castle througj the fllowers in the garden. The accomodation is on a road with an incline but the whole of Gjirokaster is like this. Parking was arranged by Pepe ,just opposite the hotel. Pepe was a fantastic host, nothing was too much for him.

Beautiful old building with a large room and a comfortable bed and bathroom. Great location for the castle and the bazaar. The owner is very friendly and recommended local restaurants and attractions. A good breakfast was served overlooking the castle.

“It was remarkable stay in historic building.”
The location is very good, because you can easily walk to Castle, Town cwnter ant other must see places. The building itself is historical and have a wonderfull panoramic view where you can enjoy breakfast. Owner is helpful and nice person.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and a beautifully designed interior. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The views are stunning and add a special touch to the overall experience. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality and an excellenct breakfast — the owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended!

It was like living in a medieval castle/house. The owner himself manages it, very humble and really helpful. Gave us tips on where to go. The view was bomb with really good breakfast. Value for money 10/10

Beautifully renovated room in a ‘tiny castle’ in easy walking distance to Gjirokaster UNESCO fortress and the grand bazaar. Great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city.

“Lovely stay”
A beautifully renovated traditional building close to the Castle. There is parking available at the guest house but getting there initially was tricky as Google maps did not take us on a route that was accessible by car. I recommend that you phone the owner before arrival so that he can advise you on the driving route to get to the guesthouse. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a lovely view over the city. We loved staying at this establishment.

Staying here was like stepping into the living history of Gjirokastra. The guesthouse is located in a beautifully preserved traditional building—just like the ones people come here to visit. The location is absolutely perfect, nestled between the castle and the old bazaar. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making the stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic experience in this unique city.

Rustic/Castle like but modern, clean room. Outstanding view from outside eating area. Loved staying here despite a hilly setting. Superb host, cheerful, extremely helpful. Sorry to have to leave.
