“Exceptional Stay with Amazing Hosts!”

We had an amazing stay at this guest house and honestly, we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel so welcome – incredibly friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. The hospitality was truly top-notch and made me feel right at home. The place itself was spotless – everything was clean and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect too – close to the main attractions, but still peaceful and quiet at night. If you’re visiting Gjirokastër and want a cozy, clean, and welcoming place to stay, this is the one. I will definitely be coming back!

The house is located in a strategic location, near the bazar and the castle(within walking distance). There is Free Parking, Free Wifi, Air-conditioning, washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a big balcony with a fantastic views. Jona's parents are so gentle and respectful. They showed us the true Albanian Hospitality. They take care of all details from start to end. Overall, the house ambience gives you a feeling of the old nice times, along with gentle family. Definitely we will book there again. Highly Highly recommended.

“Cozy, clean, close to the old town with the nicest host”

The hosts were the nicest Albanians we’ve met! They are super nice even though they didn’t speak English at all! It is an old couple but they really are the nicest people. We had a welcome snack and drink when we arrived. There was cold water in the fridge. The room was clean and cozy, had working AC. The location was good too as it is very close to the old town and the castle. The shower is really nice too and I loved the mirrors.

Located in the old town with parking facilities which was a real bonus but were a bit challenging however with local help & help from host made this process a dream. Location was perfect within easy walking distance to the Old Town Castle & War Museum. Instructions received from host prior to arrival were very helpful. Host & parents were so nice & helpful couldn’t do enough for you nothing was a problem

Great place. Very warm welcome by the host. Spacious apartment. Everything we needed was there. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is hot and with a firm ray of water, just the way we like it. On walking distance from the beautiful city centre of Gjirokaster. Just perfect!

A cozy, nice and warm, 5 minute walk away from the old bazaar house. We had a great trip and stay there. The welcome of the owners was the nicest way to start the staying. The view from the house was nice, but to be mentioned is the fireplace, perfect for a cold or rainy day.

“Lovely house just beneath the castle”

Jona and Thoma were wonderful generous hosts and the house is well appointed with lovely views. You have everything you could need and it’s good value. The narrow streets were interesting driving in, but they sent a helpful video to find the garage, and helped us out when we left. Lovely welcome with home produce, and great to feel like you experience a tiny bit of real Albanian life. Would happily have paid some extra for a breakfast option as the house is a walk away from town.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and even offered us a welcome drink and a dessert. The hospitality and amenities were wonderful. This place is located close to the castle and market (10min walk).

The staff were extremely polite and hospitable. The property was very clean and comfortable to stay in. It is also located close to the castle and bazaar which was a great bonus. Overall, highly recommend.

“Best stay in Gjirokaster”

The apartment is beautiful and incredibly comfortable. It's really like being in someone's home. Both me and my friend had probably the best night's sleep there. The apartment was clean and was very well looked after. The location is also great, super close to the castle and the bazaar, which is then close to the other sights to see in gjirokaster. Also, phenomenal value for money.

Amazing apartment and hospitality

Staying at home was comfortable. it was clean. the house had interior woodwork. the location was perfect. everything was within walking distance. the view from the balcony of the house was calming. near the house was the castle. in the evening you could enjoy the food of the restaurants in the bazaar, which was located very next to the house, everything was perfect.
