“Best view hotel - loved it here!”

Excellent hotel. They have a restaurant that operates till late which was excellent after a long drive from Tirana. The staff were super nice and friendly and went above and beyond. You will have breakfast with the best view in the whole town at this hotel. Even the view from the rooms are phenomenal! They have a rooftop bar which once again has an amazing panoramic view. The staff were so helpful. They whatsapped me to make sure i got directions to their parking and they pick up calls straight away to answer questions and give guidance! Water was hot. Comfortable beds. Everything was clean. They also let us keep our car in the parking after check out which is a big bonus because it allowed us to walk around the town and check out all the touristy spots. Reception staff helped with recommendations.

An Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Kodra, Gjirokastër We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Kodra in Gjirokastër. From the very first moment, the receptionist Enejda stood out for her kindness and warm smile, making us feel truly welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was absolutely fantastic, with delicious traditional Albanian dishes and a variety of special local specialties, all prepared with great care and authentic taste. Every meal was a pleasure. The evening atmosphere was exceptional — perfect for dinner, with a cozy setting and live music that created a truly memorable experience. The combination of great food, music, and ambiance made our nights there very special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gjirokastër and looking for excellent hospitality, amazing food, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Wonderful authentic traditional hotel offering large rooms with great views over the old city. Both the restaurant and roof top bars have outstanding views over the city. Right in the centre of the old town so easy to explore castle and old town. Very convenient parking once you get up the very narrow cobbled, steep road! Staff are so helpful and charming.

The hotel was very good located. The rooms are very clean and cozy also the view couldn't leave behind, it's amazing. The girl at the recp desk I think I remember her name properly ( Kella ), she was very helpful and she came to pick us up and was very friendly also she gave us a very warm welcome so we feel like in our house 🙏. Recommend this hotel 10/10. We also tried the restaurant there which has plenty of dishes and was very tasty and the staff were polite and professional. Breakfast has a lot of things to choose from 👌

Great location on the beach. Pleasant staff. Quite a large hotel with several spaces for parking. Close to seafront bars and restaurants. Overall a nice choice.

A wonderful hotel with impressive architecture, located 5 minutes from the castle and one minute from the bazaar. The rooms are the old style, with wood framed windows which let all the cold air from outside into the room. Although we had air conditioning that we could turn on warm, it couldn't cope. I can only say that it is a wonderful accommodation that I highly recommend!!!
