Overview
Located in the city of Gjirokastër, just beneath the Gjirokastër Castle, Hotel Cajupi features free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning in all rooms. The hotel overlooks the main square (which can be noisy at times) but if you want to be in the center of Gjirokaster, that's the place to be!. I enjoyed watching the sunset over the Albanian mountains from the balcony. The bazaar, the mosque, the cold war tunnel and the stairs of the castle are just a stone away. The rooms are a bit outdated but it's part of the charm. The big bonus was the car park just outside the door (400 lek/day).

Perfect location, you will walk directly to the city center of gjirokaster. All te attractions are on walking distance! Parking in the parking garage located under the hotel for 5eu a day.

“Lovely stay in the centre of gjirokaster with great views, breakfast and staff, what more could you ask for!”
Incredible location right by the square, tunnels, bazaar etc. the hotels were large, clean and the balcony had a wonderful Mountain View. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists who were great, helping me with buses and doing my laundry! The breakfast was nice and varied and the prices are too bad for what you’re getting, would recommend to anyone staying in gjirokaster.

“Great location to stay on a visit to Gjirokastër. Worth the trip.”
Very convenient central location within easy walking distance of the Castle, the old town and Cold War bunker tour was just next door. Nice breakfast on the roof terrace with spectacular views of the valley below and the mountains. Hotel has no parking but there is secure underground public parking right out front for 400 lek for 24hours. (€4) Nice views from the room which was comfortable.

“One of the best bookings we have”
The location was perfect, so easy to get there and with parking options and moreover it was right at the Bazaar. The room was big enough and had everything you needed. The view from the balcony was very pretty. The breakfast had everything you could hope for and the food was great. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. And all this for one of the cheapest prices on the market that we could find! Thank you!

Great value for money. I pais 35 eur for one night with breakfast included. Great location next to the bazaar. From the bus terminal you can take a taxi for 400LEK to the old town. Payment can be done by card but not with a contactless option as they claim that their terminal is not working contactless.
