It’s family owned and they were all so lovely and welcoming! Gjirokastër is very “hilly” so the roads were tough but they even offered to drop us off into town/pick us up. Very accommodating to our needs and there when we needed anything. Also, the breakfast was a whole spread with an amazing view of the castle and the mountains; it was so refreshing to eat to such a peaceful view. 10/10.

“Lovely Guest House, Family, Food and View”

Lovely hosts and family in the guest house. You feel welcome and can tell that the family has a passion for making their guest happy and satisfied. Great communication and the parking is perfect. The traditional guest rooms are very beautiful and the bathrooms are very modern. The breakfast is a 10/10. Freshly prepared, lots of choice, very delicious and an astonishing view from the top of Gjirokaster. Also the freshly cooked traditional dinner was perfect. Not too much choice but definitely enough and very affordable prices. All in all I can definitely recommend this guest house.

Guest house Hasko is towards the top of Girokaster with views down into the town and over the mountains beyond. We enjoyed the peace of being out of the centre and it felt like a lovely location. The family were very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious.

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the view was absolutely spectacular. Highly recommended!

a warm, welcoming, and open-hearted family who goes above and beyond to make your stay in gjirokastra as beautiful and unforgettable as possible. the whole house is filled with love – in every little corner; delicious, traditional albanian breakfast; absolutely breathtaking view – the steep walk up is so worth it 🦋. they offer dinner unbelievably tasty and cheap dinner. would recommend 10/10!

An absolutely delightful stay! The hosts were warm and welcoming. The food we ordered for dinner was delicious, as was the included breakfast. Rooms are clean, and the beds are super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The walk down to the town centre is manageable if you are able-bodied. Ask locals for directions as tricky to find with Google Maps. The view from the balcony is well worth it!

Beautiful room, amazing view from a cozy outdoor sofa space, delicious breakfast on the upstairs balcony, very kind hosts who put a lot of effort into welcoming us and making sure our stay was comfortable, and a great location close to the Gjirokastër castle via a pedestrian path. Be ready for the steep streets of the town !

Lovely guest house with everything you need, its very cozy, clean and the staff is extremely nice and hepful. The breakfast was home made and delicious, probably the best one we had in Albania. The view from the terrace is amazing.

Well the place is far away from the city center, you need a car if you have luggage, if not you need to be a good hiker. Even if you have a car you need to be a good driver as the parking space is limited and narrow, furthurmore there are no directions to the property, we could speak the language and ask directions but for people that don't speak the language it might be a problem.
