A very charming family driven hotel in a traditional building. The owners Tatiana and Moli ensured a perfect stay for us. They were very polite and efficient and took care of every request we had. The location is a short walk away from the center of Gjirokaster, but the hotel itself is absoulte quiet and without any sound disturbance. Our room on the 2nd floor gave us a nice view on the old city. The breakfast was excellent. Simply perfect.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. It was very comfortable, very cozy, and very clean. The view was amazing. The hotel owner welcomed us so warmly that we really liked her, and we wished we could have stayed longer.

It’s difficult to sum up what a wonderful place this is. The owner Tatiana gives the warmest welcome, making it a really special place to stay. . We’ve stayed here twice and absolutely love it. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is freshly made and huge, with delicious home made walnut and honey cake on the side one day and home made byrek on another. The street is quiet and the beds very comfortable, so set up for a great night’s sleep. It’s also in a perfect location only a few steps from the main sights. Thank you, thank you Tatiana!

Tatiana, you were one of the sweetest hosts during our balkan trip. Grazie mille <3 If you arrive here by motorbike, you can park in front of the building (it's a flat area). Ask Tatiana for the best roads to take to arrive to the hotel, she will help you. It's rught in the ci ty center.

“Outstanding guesthouse with a kind and charming host”

We loved everything about this guesthouse. It's in a great location for exploring the historic and charming town of Gjirokaster. It was spotlessly clean and decorated with pine. The traditional curtains, colourful cushions and small details made it very cozy and comfortable. There was parking in front of the guesthouse. Tatiana and her colleague made us feel very welcome in her grandmother's home. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked the moment we entered the breakfast room. There was always free bottled water at the front desk. Tatiana was helpful with directions and gave us some of her excellent family wine to try. We had a beautiful view from our light and bright room.

Tatiana was an amazing host - she couldn't do enough for us, and loved sharing her traditional homemade food with us. She was a warm, friendly and lovely person. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very generous portions. Tatiana helped us park outside the hotel, and everything to see was within a 10 minute walk.

The hotel was a restored old building which was very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location close to the town bazaar and museums and so on. Tatiana and Deti were very warm and hospitable hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable and to feed us! The breakfasts were excellent and set us up for a day of walking up and down steep cobbled streets!

Perfectly located hotel - close to the historic center, the castle and all the key points of Girokastra, but also quiet and comfortable to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. The entire facility is maintained in a local and very atmospheric style with attention to every, even the smallest, detail. The apartment is hygienically clean, spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The facility is run by a charming hostess, Tatiana, who offers hospitality and assistance, even with parking the car. Special mention should be made of the abundant breakfast prepared on site, always with fresh, local products and the hostess' own preserves and baked goods.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Gjirokastër! The location is perfect – just a short walk to the main bazaar with all the shops and restaurants, and an easy stroll up to the castle. The guest house itself is beautiful, set in a 200-year-old building with so much character. The rooms are full of charm while the bathrooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. But the real highlight is Tatiana. She is simply wonderful – so warm, kind, and full of passion for what she does. She made us a fantastic breakfast every morning and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. You can really tell she loves her guest house and her guests.

The breakfast was fantastic, the house is right in the center of the historic city and everything can be reached easily by foot.

We highly recommend hotel Argyropolis as your stay when visiting Gjirokaster. The owner, Tatiana is the sweetest lady and upon arrival we were greeted with the biggest smile! We felt instantly at home and safe. The location of the accommodation is a perfect walking distance from the main sights, whilst keeping a good enough distance from the busy center, allowing you to have a good nights sleep. The facilities are great and the breakfast is 11/10! We will definitely be returning.

“A warm welcome right in the heart of the old town”

We had the warmest welcome from Tatiana who owns and runs the hotel. The breakfast was cooked fresh for us and included Petula (small doughnuts) with delicious jam and honey as well as eggs, sausage, cheese etc. The room was lovely, very comfortable and Tatiana brought us home made treats to try. What a great stay, thank you!
