The location really is the star of the show here — perfectly placed for visiting Monet's house and gardens, and the building itself has genuine charm and character that you won't find in a standard hotel. That rustic, historic feel is part of the appeal, and on that front it delivers. However, there are a few things worth knowing before you book. With a proper deep clean and a bit of maintenance attention, this place could be genuinely special. As it stands, it's one for adventurous travellers happy to take the rough with the smooth. Book with eyes open. ⭐⭐⭐

Host was very friendly and gave us recommendations of where to eat and have some drinks. The place was lovely. We were in the apartment one I think in the middle of a heat wave and it was very hot in the upstairs bit where the beds are but very nice, cosy, rustic little apartment with a very nice garden area and delicious breakfast bits delivered to our door. Giverney is lovely and worth seeing in the evening outside of the really busy tourist rush.

Lovely rustic setting and a quirky charming setup. The hosts were great, generous and friendly. They were dealing with a very unpleasant pair of other guests when we arrived - with great patience and reason in spite of the aggressive and abusive nature of these people. Highly recommended as an off beat accommodation in a beautiful setting.

Lovely place, the personel were super nice and we had a delicious breakfast. Great location if you want to spend the day exploring Claude Monet’s house and garden.

Wonderful place and kind owner. Super short walk to Monets garden and a lovely restaurant nearby that the owner reccomended to us. Comfortable bed with ample linen/pillows and a smart tv with Netflix etc downloaded onto it. Bread delivered for breakfast on our first morning (to accompany the jams, butter, yoghurts and juice in the fridge), however not on the morning we were checking out, so be advised.

Excellent location for visiting the monet garden and very quirky, a perfect fit for the village and experience. The host was very welcoming and check in was simple and easy. The accommodation was clean and the property garden full of character and well kept. The kitchen and dining room area is spacious and very cosy with charming decorations and features.

The property was very well located for the Monet Gardens and we were able to easily park our large vehicle on the street. The studio was quirky and very well thought out, great strong shower. Lovely fresh bread and croissants in the morning.

What an incredible place, so full of charm. Eric and Pillar were so friendly and helpful, and the the property was absolutely beautiful. Our room couldn't have been more sweet, and the location was ideal. A dreamy stay.

This was a country residence of great charm and the owner was very hospitable and helpful. He arranged for a taxi as Sunday trains did not fit our return schedule.
