“Perfect place to stay for a restful break”

You cannot but love the location, decor, comfort and exceptional garden at this rental property. It was perfect. Our hostess, Véronique,could not have done more for us filling the fridge with lovely fresh and homemade produce and providing fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and baguettes daily. We were reluctant to go home!

A wonderful spot to enjoy wondering in Giverny after the tours have gone home. Breakfast was wonderful sat outside and the fridge stocked with goodies for our stay was an added bonus- especially the homemade strawberry jam!

The location was amazing; walking distance to both the gardens and good restaurants. Lovely house with everything you needed. Amazing breakfast and the host was excellent at service. I really didn’t want to leave.

We had a great stay. Veronique is a wonderful friendly host. The accommodation is gorgeous. Perfect for two persons. Maybe a wee bit small for 3 or more. Breakfast was beautiful and to be able to sit out in the beautiful garden was idyllic and very fitting considering it is so close to Monets Garden.

Everything. The location was chosen so we could be in Giverny to do the Monet house and gardens, it was on the crossroads along the Main Street a perfect spot to walk around and take in the area. The house was beautiful and we had use of a small terrace and part of the garden to ourselves. There was parking for the car inside a gated area. Veronica greeted us on our arrival with a warm welcome and showed us around the house, which was well equipped. The fridge was stocked with produce and fresh bread and patisseries were left each morning of our two night stay. It was very comfortable and clean and had a very good atmosphere, couldn’t fault anything. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Giverny. Thank you.

“A little gem in the heat of Monet’s village”

We loved everything about this gorgeous cottage superbly interior designed by Veronique. It was extremely clean, comfortable, every little detail thought of, and had the most amazing patio and garden in which to relax. Situated right in the centre of Giverny you really get a feel of how life was in this stunning little village once occupied by Monet and the Impressionists. It is very busy in the day but at night when the visitors from the cruise ships have gone, it is so peaceful!

Super friendly host. Parking next time the door in the centre of Giverny. Amazing location just Yards from Monet house and museum. A real privilege to be able to be in the village when everyone has left. Fantastic garden which we spent time sitting in. A wonderful experience

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful location.”

Location was superb. A short walk to the museum and Monet’s house and garden. Véronique was a fantastic host who delivered lovely fresh breakfasts each morning, complete with home prepared fruits/compotes. On a busy pedestrian street but very quiet after 6pm. A fully secluded garden to relax in was a bonus as was off road parking. Lots of local cafes and restaurants and a superb bakery (Au coin de Pain’tre) close by.

This is quite simply an exceptional residence. Staying here provides the opportunity of stepping into, and living in the centre of the history of the impressionist movement. Your host will make you feel very welcome, breakfast and the supplies provided are a delight. Me and my family cannot praise the house enough. We very much hope to go back in the not too distant future.

Breakfast was beautiful and so nice to have either a fresh croissant or pain chocolat and baguettes. Veronique was a lovely host, very kind and she even did some washing for us.

Superb breakfast catering to my particular dietary need Fabulous location right in the heart of the village

Mrs. Veronique was extremely nice, kind, charming and hospitable. We had bread, croissants, jam, and fruit for breakfast and we didn't even mind, even though we are used to vegetables and sausages:-D. The possibility of private parking is excellent. We recommend visiting!

Wonderful hostess Veronique. Excellent location, super clean and fridge stocked with essentials (milk etc) which was very welcome after a long day on the road and arriving in the evening. Nothing too much trouble and bonus of secure parking on site which accommodates large 4x4 (Landrover Defender 110).

“Wished we stay'd longer.”

Hosts delivered fresh warm croissants and baguettes each morning. They were friendly, welcoming and charming. We had our own place to park (it's very difficult to park in Giverny) and an small patio with a table and chairs and yard with chairs to relax in. Most of all, you couldn't find a better location. We were in the heart of Giverny, among many galleries, restaurants and shops. My husband loved the Mechanical Museum a few buildings away. It was only a 5 minute walk to Monet's house and garden and the Impressionist Museum. Plus, read up on the history and the painters who lived here during Monet's time.

Wonderful hosts, and superb location for visiting Monet house & gardens + museum just next door. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a small house, so getting up the stairs to the bedroom takes care if you are a certain age, so be careful; but the breakfast, location, and hosts more than make up for this small disadvantage.

superb location with parking for our car and near to the Monet museum. Very attentive host and a nice breakfast with home made jams. Delicious.
