“It’s all about the Monet”

Sweet little cottage on the edge of the village. Inside was cool and airy and newly decorated. The beds were comfortable. The downstairs furniture wasn’t particularly comfortable.

“Pleasant 5 night stay”

The location of the cottage was excellent, only a few hundred metres from Monet's house and garden. Giverny is a very pleasant village and it was an easy drive to other places of interest, eg.Les, Andelys, La Roche Gouyon, Versailles, Rouen. Sylvaine, our host, was lovely and very friendly. She greeted us on arrival and was at the cottage to say goodbye when we left. The cottage itself had a rustic charm and was very clean throughout.

Good location very close to the village. Comfortable beds and linens. Good garden and an extra loo downstairs. Owner speaks good English and very friendly and easy going.

Great location, big, comfortable house and super clean. Very convenient, to park your car and explore Giverny on foot. Very family friendly equipped. Cot, beds, steps, potties, children books and few toys for kids as well to keep you busy.

Excellent location in Giverny. Quiet, yet near Monet’s house and garden. Private. Spacious for three people and very comfortable. Sparkling clean.

It was a perfect venue for our short stay in the area. It was near to superb places to eat both gourmet and generally good quality eateries. Sylvaine was very welcoming and so helpful. A great place to be.

Perfect location for a visit to Monet’s Garden in Giverny. Rustic country cottage feel. Convenient private parking and well equipped kitchen.

Location was superb. Cottage was very “cute” and comfortable. It had the basics needed for a short stay. Sylvaine was an excellent hostess - and nothing was too much trouble for her. Responded quickly too.

Great location: and nice to be able to walk around the village in the evening when the tourists have gone(!). Monet's Garden was fine: my wife visited twice, although IMO the waterlilies were a little disappointing. We visited late in the day, i.e. when not too crowded. The Art Museum is small, but recommended. You have to book for the restaurant. Vernon is not far away, and has a large Carrefour. And a pleasant art museum. Sylvaine is an excellent host. Helpful & quick to reply. Good advice on restaurants, shops, etc.

A few steps away from Monet's house and garden, good options for eating out also close by. Comfortable beds and furniture. Lovely bed linen.
