I recently stayed at this charming property on a brief one‑night trip from Germany, and I couldn’t have been more delighted: Arrival & Check‑In - Despite my late‑night arrival—just before midnight—the owner was patiently waiting and greeted me warmly. I had notified them of my delay in advance, and they kindly accommodated my schedule without a hitch. Room & Upgrade - I originally booked the most economical room, but to my surprise and delight I was upgraded free of charge to their best suite. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed—exactly what I needed for a good night’s rest. Dining & Atmosphere - Even though the restaurant was technically closed, they graciously reopened it for me and treated me to a complimentary beer. The décor is like stepping into a 1960s–70s American museum: quirky, cozy, and utterly captivating. Free coffee is available all day, and I enjoyed sipping it in their lovely garden nook. Hidden Gem: Home Cinema - As a final treat, I discovered a small private home cinema with a handful of ultra‑comfortable seats—a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting! This place exceeded every expectation—from the friendly service and spotless rooms to the unique dining space and secret cinema. I will absolutely return on my next trip and plan to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone seeking warmth, comfort, and a touch of nostalgia in a beautifully curated setting!

Very friendly and truly inspiring hosts who live their American dream in a small village in Denmark. I learned shuffle ball, had a nice drink and a good conversation with the owners. Breakfast is fabulous and super rich. The room was small but well equipped. Bath room very close and clean.

This place is delightfully unique, guaranteed to create lasting holiday memories. We had a wonderful evening there, complete with a movie viewing (and beer and nibbles) in a private on-site cinema. The hosts are really lovely. For a special experience it’s a must.

“Cool place, friendly owners and great bar”

What a great stay, the owners were so welcoming and friendly. They have their own personal retro bar which was so much fun. The food was also fantastic, we went for the tomahawk steak and what a feed it was.
