The location and setting was beautiful, up on a hill in trees overlooking vineyard, with wild kangaroo (and rabbits) visible outside of window. Was clearly someone's pride and joy at some point.

Peace, the quiet, Its just a lovely place to get away, the walk around the winery was lovely and even though the restaurant was closed, we had everything we needed

We really enjoyed our stay at this winery cottage. The environment was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was wonderful to see rabbits running around the vineyard and to watching the cars pass by on the hill overlooking the vineyard. Being surrounded by nature and away from busy environment and noise of the city made the experience even more refreshing. A great place for anyone seeking tranquility and a relaxing getaway.

I loved the location and serenity which was what I was looking for.

Location should have been idyllic by the lake and vineyard etc. Instead building site demolition to the old lake side restaurant and surroundings. We knew the restaurant was closed but not a building site.

Gisbourne Peak Winery provides a quiet hideaway nestled amongst the extensive vines. A well equipped cabin made for a very restful stay. We’ll be back.

For us, it was just good to get away somewhere because it had been a while. The view wasn't bad.

Quiet and clean, comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and quick to respond. Lovely area amongst the vines and bush, loved the wildlife.

Great location over looking the vineyard and very peaceful. The rooms were clean and stocked with breakfast and water. Visitors guide was spot on for recommendations.

Very peaceful and quiet. The chalet was delightful , comfortable with secluded outdoor seating . Lots of birds around and beautiful trees

Calm and beautiful stay. Host was responding to every message and try to accommodate all our requirements. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they decorated our stay and gave us complimentary wine and cake which was awesome. Also provided breakfast and arranged a bbq machine which was not in our cottage.

Marketed as having a swimming pool it doesn’t. Had to complain that there was no BBQ before that was resolved. The Cellar Door and restaurant has clearly been closed for several years. The business should update their marketing literature to accurately reflect the actual circumstances and facilities available.

The unit is overlooking the vineyard and green hills. Very pleasant scenery. It comes with a BBQ at the balcony for self cooking which is excellent. The owner provided plenty of sparkling water, milk, breakfast pack, cereals for my two nights stay. Very cosy unit.

Lovely little cottage and quite. Clean, comfy, breakfast needs left in fridge which was lovely. Overall a great stay, just surrounds could have been neater and tidier
