“Comfortable stay!!”

Lovely hosts, clean and tidy hostel. The location is perfect and the colonial town is very cute!

Faultless. Johnathan is incredibly helpful and hospitable. The simple room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Great value for money. If you don’t like staying in cities, this home makes for a perfect airport/bus station stopover being 15 minutes from both yet within a beautiful historic small town. Johnathan picked us up from the airport for a small fee and arranged a taxi the next day for the bus station. He made our journey exceptionally easy.

“Colonial town with a quiet central park.”

Everything was great for the budget traveller. The historic town has so much character, and they have developed a restaurant street free of cars. The air-conditioning was an added bonus. The bus stop for the main bus terminal was a few blocks away.

Top option in Girón, with an excellent host. A really nice, well located hostel

“Different from other comments”

The owners of the hotel are very kind people so the goal of this comment is not to damage the hotel image but it is more like a constructive comment so they can improve the hotel and it's infrastructures. Unlike other reviews we've read here, we didn't find the hotel clean. The common part of the entrance is very cluttered and has a kitchen (used by the owners) that has a lot of dirty dishes. So it's not pleasant to be in that common area. The rooms (at least our room is small and poorly ventilated). It had a lot of cobwebs on the floor and dirt/sand and some dust. There is no hot water in the showers which is supposedly justified by the hot weather... But it's still painful to have a shower there. The area outside also needs some works. We understand that they are still improving the things as they needed to adapt the life post pandemia but there is a lot to be improved. As said, this is not to harm anyone but just to say what we don't feel good about and what needs to be improved in our view as there is potential in the space. The breakfast is very good as so the location. Ps- we also understand that there are a lot of people very happy about their stay here (we actually booked this place based on the comments) but we found it very different from what we read.. Good luck and we wish the onwers all the best as they are really nice people.

“Quiet and convenient.”

Colonial style, outdoor and indoor seating areas, quiet and secure. Kitchen available. Close to restaurants. Closer to airport than Bucaramanga. Fans in bedrooms.

The location was great. Friendly staff. The room was small but with everything that is necessary. Bed was confortable, clean and with cotton bedsheets :). The bathroom in our room was pretty.

It was just what we needed for one night. Staff were helpful.

“Beautiful spot in a lovely town”

Lovely, generous and hospitable hosts with lots of ideal recommendations. Comfortable clean room with a fan and lots of character. Great facilities and beautiful outside area, in a convenient location. I only wish we'd planned to spend longer here and in Girón.

I pretty liked the Atmosphere of this hostel. And that the location its in the middle of the old part of Giron.

Very welcoming.Lovely outside seating area that we were allowed to use during the day even after checking out. The owners are very kind people.

“Lovely hosts, great location!”

The couple running this hostel is lovely! We had great breakfast in the morning, and the hostel is located right near the centre of town. It has some nice places to relax! The beds and shared bathrooms are basic, but comfortable. All in all happy with this place!

Very nice hosts. Helena and Ceasar are very friendly and the place is quiet with a nice garden. Tasty breakfast. Close to the main square in a beautiful street.
