Overview
With free Wi-Fi, the Locanda La Clusaz is in the Valle D’Aosta valley and has been run by the same family for 3 generations. Rooms come with views of the mountains, the valley, or pine forest. A buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room, and is Italian style. Ham, cheese and eggs are available on request. The restaurant offers traditional and seasonal menus, as well as à la carte options. Rooms offer an en suite bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and flat-screen TV. The Locanda has provided accommodation since the late 1980s, however it used to be a bistro from the 1930s. La Clusaz is a 15-minute drive from Aosta and its airport, and is approximately 10 km from the Crévacol ski area. A bus stop is situated in front of the main entrance. The property features a 600-metre hiking path which leads to Via Francigena in the pine forest. Located close to the border with Switzerland, the Locanda has views of the Grand Combin mountain chain. The property is a 30-minute drive from Pré Saint Didier Thermal Spa.

The location of the hotel in the middle of the mountains is stunning. We received a warm welcome, and the decoration of the common areas is elegant. The bed was very comfortable. They accept dogs.

Very nice place. You don't see that from the outside, but once you enter it's a beautiful quiet place. The restaurant and bistro offer great food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is buffet but very fresh and well stocked. It's located at a busy road, but you don't hear anything inside.

“Wonderful staff and restaurant”
We stayed for 1 night as a birthday treat after several days of hiking, and could not be happier with our choice! The staff were brilliant and so helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet despite the busy road outside. The highlight was the meal at their restaurant, we had the tasting menu which was so creative and exciting. The value for money of the room and meal were excellent too. I would go back again in a heartbeat!
