Fully renovated by the owner, mixed tastes of traditional and modern were absolutely lovely:) The owner offered me free bike for the guests so that I can cycle around the city without paying transportation. The bed had a small mirror and a table light for each of the guest and fluffy blanquette was so comfortable!

I stayed only for 1 night few months ago but this accomodation was very confortable. There is a kitchen well equipated. Beds are nice and rooms are cosy !

The guesthouse accepted my bag for me (I sent it via japan post) and stored the bag for two days, even though it is a small space. I also really enjoyed the tatami room with the kotatsu, it was very cozy!

Inside is beautiful and the owner is so nice and friendly. He recommended me some places. I love that there is a library nearby and it was designed by Toyo Ito. Being an architecture student it just makes me so happy. The guesthouse is also nearby bus stop (Kinkabashi and Inaba dori 7 mins away)

“Love this house in traditional Japanese style”

Good location. You can walk around Gifu from Inabadori to Yotsuyacho where guesthouse is located. The owner gave me good suggestions. Here made me feels like home (in Japanese style).

It was a super cozy vibe all around and the owner was the sweetest guy ever. Location is decent, but you need to be comfortable taking the bus around to Gifu station. The Gifu castle hike and squirrel village were highlights for sure so check those out!

Highly recommend! Great place to stay for few nights. Very close to the castle and also very close to the nature if you want to do some great walks. Everything was fantastic!
