Beautiful family run hotel, at one end of giethoorn, so very quiet, one can find peace here. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with minimal wastage. I really liked the concept. Literally 10 minutes to the chaos of main giethoorn, so wonderful to visit the binnenpad area at late evening and early morning. We Rented the first boat at 9 am from the hotel itself, had a wonderful peaceful boat ride. Loved our stay here.

“Cozy hotel just outside Giethoorn”

Very cozy and quiet place, just a bit out of the busy town center of Giethoorn, such that it offers a very spacious free parking, boat rental directly from the hotel, and a nice outdoors area where to chill in the evening or in the morning. The owner was super kind and everything was very nice.

Great location. Very clean a relatively new build. Easy check with friendly people. Looks to be a family run hotel. Was recommended a restaurant, which we ate at, this was also good. Breakfast is pre-ordered and cooked fresh for you. Would stay here again if in the area.

Esther!! Absolutely lovely lady who was so welcoming. She has clearly travelled herself so knows how to help people and make them feel welcoming without being in your face. Gave us advice as to when to do the boats and where to have dinner and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful walk into town along the canals.

Pay attention to the check-in hours! For the situation where I arrived after 6 pm, in a totally unprofessional and unempathetic manner the property did not offer us the possibility to stay in the 2 rooms for which I had paid 279 euros and canceled my reservation. Unbelievable that you cannot stay in a hotel after 6 pm, to not offer any solution in an unforeseen situation! Not even a flower pot after which to leave a key...
