It's a really a good place to stay. Perfect location. Host was friendly to suggest restaurants and explain everything on how it works in the village.

Location was close to all restaurants and major attractions. The view of the canal was mesmerizing. The apartment had everything you need. From kitchen cutlery to kids toys. I was touched how much the couple (Marco and Marjolein) invested to customize and puts things together based on the needs of the guest family. We were received by a warm welcome at the apartment followed by a nice tour of the apartment. Marco and Marjolein were responsive and coming back quickly to our questions and requests.

The hosts were great and the location was wonderful, we enjoyed the stay!

Apartement had all facilities and was located very close to town. Everything worked OK and the hosts were always contactable for any queries or advice.

“Best possible stay that we could have asked for”

The location is superb. Thanks Marco and Marjolein for the hospitality. The rooms are spacious, there is a full kitchenette with all required things available to cook and a lovely patio with awesome view of the sea. Its serene and tranquil to walk the sunrise and sunset view is awesome. The hosts took care to have the littlest details possible and all smallest of things were present. Really loved the warm welcome. They also allowed us for a late checkout. It was a wonderful experience as we spent our marriage anniversary and Geithoorn is a lovely place to be in, fantastic boat ride and very beautiful surroundings. We will definitely visit again someday. For reaching this place either bus 70/270 can be taken from Steenwijk station and then to get down at Dominee Hyklemag stop and from there its hardly 5 mins walk to Apartment HOEK.

“Great place to stay in when visiting Giethoorn”

The location of the apartment is perfect. It is close to the village and to the bus station. It is occupied with almost everything. The host is very friendly and helpful. They have accommodated all of our requests. It is also possible to do barbecue outside just on the river. They have provided us with their own barbecue. The towels and sheets were clean so was the house in general. The house has all facilities to feel like at home.

Location was AMAZING, just a little outside the main Giethoorn canal area where you go boating but very close, and also you have an amazing view of the canal. Great apartment with a lot of space, nice garden area, and already came with some food (pasta noodles and other seasonings) as well and coffee and tea. Hosts were very warm, friendly and accommodating. Collecting and returning the keys were very easy.
