The Yellow Castel in Giessen = Parkhotel Friedrichstrasse I will call it as The Yellow Castel in Giessen ! I had a nice and calm stay during my first visit in Giessen. Its just stone walk from HBF and at town center with restaurants nearby ! The manager Mrs Theressa and her staff at the front desk was incredibly warmly welcoming, very helpful and attentive team who provide courteous services. The new renovated hotel and its room were spacious, clean, exceptionally comfortable, and the room was spotless. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of fresh fruit and pastries. I will definitely be back!

“Good option for a quick stay in Giessen”
The breakfast was small but with enough variety. Coffee is made to order for each table. Beds were comfortable. Very close to the train station. The morning staff was really helpful.

Location, as I travelled by train. The hotel is 50 metres from the station, but there is no train noise in the hotel

“Good place to stay for a night!”
Practical location close to train station. Very clean room and bathroom. Good beds. Spacious room with fridge. Cool drinks can be purchased at the reception.

“Great breakfast, will visit again.”
The breakfast buffet looked quite small when we walked into the breakfast room, but upon closer inspection, they had everything one can reasonably expect, and then quite a few things more. It was really clear that the responsible person(s) are "breakfast people" themselves, and they have good taste and lots of experience. In 12 days of travelling in D and NL, staying in 5 different places, large and small, this one had the loveliest breakfast. The rest of the stay was fine, as expected from the description and photos.
