“Stranded in Gibraltar”
Unfortunately, my husband was taken into hospital, and I had to find a hotel at short notice The staff were exceptional, they looked after me and made me feel very safe. They were very flexible and allowed us to add on extra night before we flew back to the UK.

Stayed many times at The Bristol. Only thing I would criticise are the showers in the rooms.

“Lovely, charming hotel”
I stayed at The Bristol for 3 nights with my elderly dad (I'm no spring chicken!). We had a lovely time. Yes it's a bit dated but that added to the charm. I loved the the grand lounge & pool with an art deco feel. Rooms clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast & friendly staff. What more could you ask for at a reasonable cost?

“Old-fashioned facility with good, old-fashioned service.”
Front desk and manager were very helpful with paperwork we needed for the Gibraltar authorities, also holding our luggage until our room was ready (early). The hotel very much reminds me of Britain in the '70s, which I toured as a child. Dark paneling, dark furnishings, long twisting corridors, so it was nostalgic for me. My request for an interior room far away from the central part of the hotel and other guests was perfectly respected and I was pleased to end up at the very end of a long corridor behind an extra door. Very quiet.
