“Michael could not have been more helpful and made our stay a real pleasure”

We stayed for almost 2 weeks in this compact two-bed flat in the heart of Gibraltar and we never needed for anything. It has everything to make your stay feel comfortable and homey while being in an excellent location and a walking distance to all the key landmarks and areas. Furthermore, the host Michael and his wife were exceptionally helpful- picking and dropping us off at the airport and offering to take us up the Rock (which is currently being exploited by the local tour drivers since the cable car is closed till 2027). I highly recommend.

“PERFECT IN EVERY WAY”

Location was central for everything, I am using a walker and close by was a supermarket and bars etc., harbour for eating out was a short walk, great view of the ROCK, Host Micheal extremely helpful, up and above. Everything provided for in the apartment, on arrival milk, ,beer and wine as welcome, very thoughtful, he is knowledgeable and a great guide around the Rock, he picked us up at the border and drove us back to airport, as I am less able. I will return as he suggested a dolphin boat ride, and of course, the apartment was perfect.

“Wonderful location for 1st trip to Gibraltar”

The property was very clean and well located between Main Street, Beaches and Airport. There was a welcome pack which included a lot of useful information about the apartment and Gibraltar. It included restaurant recommendations (there is an Italian place just across the road that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner- definitely recommend the French toast! The host Michael was very available/ communicative throughout the trip via WhatsApp to give advice on what to see / useful tips as well as free pick-up from the airport (thank you to Peter!) Thank you Michael for your hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here if it’s your first time in Gib.

The houseowner Michael is very kind and helpful. His wife receipted me on day 1; she is also a very nice lady. Michael brought me around Gibraltar at a very affordable rate and even brought me to the most southern tip.

Our hosts were so very courteous that they collected us from the airport for the key handover.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped with all you could need, including a nice bottle of wine, tea, coffee and more. This was unexpected and very welcomed. Michael collected us from the airport and showed us around the local area, before then taking us to the property. It’s not often someone goes above and beyond these days but Michael did with us here. Small convenience store opposite which is very handy.

Excellent service from initial contact to the last. Michael picked us up from and returned as to the airport. Returning items we’d left in the apartment to us before our flight!😂 Helpful but unobtrusive, perfect balance. Apartment was spotless, walkable to the main square and on a well served bus route. Nice touches re milk in the fridge when you arrive. Really excellent host!

The property was clean and bright with loads of room to move around. It has everything you could possibly need. We know this as we had a flight cancelled staying in a hotel beforehand . During our 2 night stay there was nothing at all I found myself needing. Michael really did go the extra mile for us after our flight ordeal and a late night booking, he even brought us milk so we could have a coffee…. GREAT place GREAT guy !! We would 100% recommend anyone to stay !

I had a wonderful time staying in this flat! There was plenty of room and the whole place felt nice and bright with a lovely view of the rock when the sun rose. The owner Micheal was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions. But the it was the little touches that really made this stay stand out to us, firstly we were collected from the airport for free and upon arriving at the flat were greeted by two cold beers and a bottle of white wine in the fridge! Absolutely perfect way to unwind after an early start travelling. Couldn’t recommend the place more and would seriously consider staying there again if I needed to return to Gibraltar.

Great location right under the rock so there are amazing views at night of the rock. Lovely to sit on the balcony and admire the view (even in the winter when we visited) Also an ideal location in terms of getting to the border as well as being within walking distance of the town square. The apartment was well-appointed and clean, with everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was very good, too, and the apartment building was very secure. But what made this apartment extra special was the host, Mike, who did everything to make our stay exceptional, not only picking us up from the airport but also providing us with information to make our stay the best it could be. 5-star service all the way!

“A very clean and comfortable apartment within easy reach of the central shops and restaurants.”

Rhonda very kindly met us at the airport and showed us around the apartment. Both bedrooms have bedside tables and wardrobes. The kitchen is well-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. No dryer but we were able to dry things on the balcony using the washing line provided. The bathroom was extremely clean with good water pressure for the shower. Rhonda was quick to answer the one query we had during our stay and couldn't have been more helpful. Eastern beach is only a short walk away and we made good use of the bus service to get around Gibraltar. Nuno's restaurant across the road and Rizzo's Daily mini supermarket are both recommended. The building is on a busy road so if you like the windows open as we do, then you're going to hear some traffic noise. Having said that, we slept extremely well as noise within the building was minimal. The other residents that we met were all friendly. The airport is close enough that we walked there for our return flights. We weren't disturbed by any noise from take-offs or landings. If we ever return to Gibraltar we would be happy to stay here again.
