Excellent owner/host Sven. Helpful. Clean premises. Prepares good breakfast . Excellent location, 7 min walk from Ghent-Dampoort station and walking distances to most attractions.

“Perfect in every way”
Perfect. Sven was a great host. Boatel was brilliant. Hard work to leave and get to the town centre. Breakfast was delightful. Nice to be able to buy beer and wine to drink on deck.

Very comfortable, nicely fitted out, clean, quiet and great central location on the river, naturally - what more could one want? Oh yes - great breakfast also! We really enjoyed our stay here, hosted by Captain Sven. Can totally recommend it!

Excellent choice when visiting Ghent, we all enjoyed it! Sven is a great host, the boat in excellent condition and the rooms lovely. Easy walk from car park, and great base for exploring the city, all within easy walking distance. Can highly recommend.

My stay was really.pleasant Sven it’s super attentive and kind . The room was very cute and the view amazing :) Bed it's very comfortable and the breakfast it's excelent. I would choose it again without a doubt!

“A very comfortable, unique stay in a perfect place to explore Gent.”
The Boatel us in a quiet place, perfect to explore Gent. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. Looking from our room onto the river was a real treat.
