Overview
This luxurious family-run hotel in the Patershol District of Ghent offers rooms in 2 historic buildings and benefits from a free heated swimming pool. It is located 100 metres from the Gravensteen Castle and a 10-minute walk from Saint Bavo’s Cathedral. Each of the rooms at Hotel Harmony features warm décor, a Nespresso machine and modern bathrooms. Some rooms come with views of the oldest parts of the city. The air-conditioned rooms also boast satellite TV, a work desk and a minibar. The elegant lounge features dark-wood décor and serves drinks including wines and cocktails. “A pleasant hotel.”
We selected this hotel because we wanted to be in the heart of the old center city. It was a nice hotel and in the summer it offers a small inner courtyard with a pool . It was central to the areas we were interested in. The room was technically oriented to the river - and you could see the river - but it was a stretch. It was the attic... so that was a bit of a disappointment but there was a larger group there so we may not have been able to negotiate for a better view - so we simply stayed out.

Fantastic canal-side location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with excellent facilities (the Japanese bidet toilet was a personal highlight) and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while (the freshly cooked waffles are amazing)

Perfect location facing the water and on a cobbled street. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lounge area was great and water available all the time if you didn't want to go to the bar.
