Beautiful view of the water, spacious, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Only one minute from the tram stop with two tram lines straight to the heart of the old town, which is also an easy walk. We would joyously come again.

“An expectional stay :)”

Entering the apartment was very easy. We received an email with very clear instructions explaining everything step by step, and it only took us about two minutes to get inside. It was a perfect holiday in every way. This was the best place I’ve ever rented on Booking. Communication was incredibly fast; no matter what I wrote, they always got back to me within an hour at the latest. I asked a lot of questions, and they answered all of them patiently and kindly, without ever getting tired of helping. Since our flight arrived early, we asked for an early check-in, and they kindly allowed us to enter the apartment 2–3 hours earlier. The facilities of the apartment were excellent in every sense. The place was very spacious, bright, and warm. The neighborhood was very quiet, safe, and pleasant. And the view was absolutely stunning. Watching that view both in the morning and in the evening was a real pleasure; if only we had more time, we would have loved to stay one more day just for that view. The apartment was very close to all the historical sights and main attractions of the city. We walked everywhere in at most 15 minutes, and it was never tiring at all. Overall, this was a stay I can highly recommend in every way. Thank you very, very much again for everything.

“A gem of an apartment.”

The apartment was clean and exceptionally well presented. It had everything needed to have a relaxing stay in Ghent. Only 15 minutes walk from the centre although there are tram stops nearby. Communications from the owner are precise and timely. There is parking available but if you have a larger car it is difficult to get in. Instructions on parking elsewhere are also provided if required.

“A relaxing and comfortable apartment.”

The location was quiet and had a good outlook from the living room. It was a modest walk into the center of Ghent but the apartment was also close to a tram stop if you wanted to cave time. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Parking might be an issue, there is limited parking nearby but there is some free parking near the watersport lake and if you park there I recommend taking a short cut through the car park of the large supermarket there. That is about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It is an excellent supermarket as well.

Excellent apartment; we felt immediately at home. It was immaculate, roomy and flooded with light- with everything you needed. We utilised the hosts suggestion for a restaurant. The lift is useful for access to the apartment. We found the apartment location easily and parked outside while we unpacked. Communication with the host was top class. We thoroughly recommend Ghent by the water and would like to stay again if we return to beautiful Ghent.

Gorgeous apartment in great location. Spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and relaxing dining and lounge room. All in all a great apartment. We will definitely consider coming back.

Location excellent. Just a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre. Very comfortable apartment and spotlessly clean. Also there is an elevator - something which is not mentioned on the booking.com website.

Spacious apartment with everything you would need for a short stay. The big bay windows and the tree line is its best feature. Very relaxing. A supermarket and bakery within 500m. Tram stop right across the building. Also a short walk into the centre. Nice balcony at the back for lounging. Quiet neighbourhood.

Tastefully modernised flat 20 minutes stroll to old town. Excellent communication with owner. Access to property and instructions easy and straightforward. Quality towels and bedding provided. Oven was clean and lined with baking parchment. However it's fully digital and slightly complicated to use. Eventually worked out the ⁰C setting to cook pizza, and then hoped and prayed it would turn itself off OK. It does! Parking for a large family car or SUV might be an issue (we were unable to access it because the pavement had been dug up). The allocated basement space has a narrow and steep slope leading to it Street parking is for residents only, but you can quickly unload outside the door, and have use of an elevator. There's paid parking on the street 2 minutes walk away, or in the city's parking houses at 10 minutes walk.
