Great central location, clean room, and friendly staff. Everything was within walking distance, making it easy to explore Ghent. The only small downside was some street noise in the evening, but it didn't significantly affect my stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

“Friends stay in the quadruple room”
The location was the best part. The room was not spotless but acceptably clean. The toilet was also pretty clean. Breakfast was also pretty nice, not a huge spread but good enough.

De Dreake Hostel is fair priced accommodation conveniently and strategically located a mere 5 minutes saunter to the historic heart of mediaeval Ghent. The tram brings you directly from Ghent station virtually to the door where check-in is a breeze. The room had only 3 bunks with fresh sheets + ensuite and overlooked the park with iconic willow trees. Breakfast was included in the price and I must say was very healthy with lots of choice. All in all it was a real treat to stay at De Dreake Hostel.

The location was very good; a 7 minutes walk to the city centre. And a 6 minutes bike ride from the busstation. In a quiet area.

I really loved the clean floors and bathrooms! They make showers a joy despite you should be sharing the facilities with up to 7 people! Breakfast is average but keeps you well nourished for the day, which is worth €10-20 in Belgian prices! The hostel is very close to T4 tram terminus, or if you're time pressed you can walk 10 mins to jump 8 stations ahead.

“Very nice stay”
This is a very nice hostel. Location was great, central but quiet. The rooms have ensuite bathroom, which I like. It can be noisy but I think it is more convenient. The breakfast was included, which is big plus. Overall, very nice stay.
