Situated in Getxo, this boutique hotel is located next to the beach and a 20-minute drive from the main cultural spots in Bilbao, such as the Guggenheim Museum. Rooms at the Petit Palace Tamarises are designed in an avant-garde style and most of them feature fantastic sea views from their own private terraces. “Would recommend this hotel to families as well ass solo travellers.”
My room was cosy and all that I needed for the three nights that I stayed, breakfast was really nice with lots to choose from both continental and hot food available and plentiful. All members of staff made us feel welcome especially front desk "Storm".

The location is great. Close to public transportation, even closer to the ocean. Breakfasts were quite simple, but fresh and overall good. Reception was helpful.

“Great location.”
Fabulous location near to Ereaga beach and Puerto Viejo. We had a short stay whilst travelling basque locations and it was just the job. Breakfast was good. We parked right outside the hotel in a free blue-edged parking space, which was a bonus.

Location to seafront, but not to shops nd villages as it is at the bottom of the cliff/hillside. Everything is up hill! Relaxing atmosphete. Pleasant staff. Good continental breakfast. Cleaning services. Location to tram.

“Very bad experience and no consideration to customers”
We stayed one night in april and we had a very bad experience: 1/Reform in the Hotel: very noisy all day long, without any notice from the hotel 2/Dogs were barking next door.. left alone in the room 3/The night concierge woke up us at 4.00 am by knocking loud at the door until we opened.... We complained to reception the next morning explaining the situation and no satisfying answer was proposed: i quote " it is not our fault".... They told that they would speak to the manager and come back to us ... Nothing happened...till now!!!! We have been ghosted ; it is not a way to deal with customers....

Staff were absolutely excellent especially Ekaitz on reception so professional and lots of knowledge of the sea also It’s near the ferry port and also yards from the beach/sea ideal for dogs ….. it has a bar/restaurant right next door ….. 5*****

The location is very good. The breakfast is excellent, they offer fried eggs and lots of options to eat, the quality of the food also good. You can park easily on the street for free (until 1st of June)
