Details of how ro access property were given a few days earlier as hosts couldn't use "whatsapp" for some reason, no emails leading to unnecessary stress until I received details late in the morning of my stay

This is a lovely apartment in a fab location. The view over the small harbour across to the port on the other side of bay is brilliant. The apartment is very well equipped and very attractive, with two small balconies. There's a lovely, popular pinxtos bar right on your doorstep with various other options close.

The apartment has a good location, close to the metro, ocean and in the middle of the Getxo lovely old town.

Incredible location in the main square in algorta. Beautiful apartment. We loved the festival, the friendly locals and the wonderful pintxos.

A perfect place to stay for a few days. Located in the heart of the Old Port in Getxo where the Nervión river meets the Atlantic. 12 minutes walking from Algorta metro station, plenty of shops and decent taverns nearby. The apartment is beautiful with maritime-themed design (but no cheesy naval kitsch, if you get me ;). All staff support comes via WhatsApp but it's impeccable. We had a wonderful time.

We thought we had the apartment next door with the 2 balconies. We didn't use our balcony because it looked over the taverna. It would be lovely if there was coffee to go in the coffee machine

“Nice accommodation - a couple of things to be aware of”

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The room/accommodation is a charming old building which has been renovated and modernized. While the room/bathroom is relatively small for an extended stay (we stayed for 5 nights), it was fine for our needs, and they've done a really nice job renovating the building while keeping some nice features. We arrived during the local fiesta and the town was very busy, which made for a great atmosphere and the accommodation is in a great location in the sense that you are very close to the seaside and a short walk from the centre of the local town. Our booking contact for the apartment facilitated us with a late checkout which was very much appreciated. She also arranged for someone to drop over fresh towels midway through our stay. Overall, I would recommend it despite some of the issues/considerations I have detailed below.
