“An unpretentious, beautiful and spectacular place in which to spend a few days”
Gure Ametsa is in a lovely secluded location, so there was no traffic and only the other guests and of course; Ainhoa the lovely owner, who was so accomodating, friendly, down to earth and helpful. The views are spectacular. There are no pretences which made us feel more at home than in some of the more contrived holiday accomodations one tends to come across. We shall definitely be returning!

“Great host, good experience, especially in quiet times”
Such a great host and what a nice and personal reception we had... we felt very welcome. The location has everything you could need, including a proper breakfast, and the area is beautiful. The host gave us some ideas of where to go for a hike, and do activities, and for dinner in the evening (and we followed some of them).

“What a beautiful spot, a good place to stay and pretty villages around with nice restaurants.”
Breakfast was fine! It's a place with a spectacular way up and a marvelous view. The owner is very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

“Excellent service, great view, good price-quality ratio!”
Great stay and environment. It's quiet and from the terrace you have a great view of the country side and sea. Very pleasant host with an excellent service. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels were switched as well. You can walk to Zumaia, which has a nice beach at the east side of the rock. We planned to stay two days, but booked an extra night. Also a visit to the town getaria is adviced which has really good fish restaurants. Tip: Hills are steep if you decide to go walk to Getaria or Zumaia, than bring sporty shoes! We stayed here in June and came by car.
