“A spot of beautiful tranquility”

The whole stay from start to finish was perfect. On arrival we found that we had been upgraded to a bigger room which was on the upper floor with a private balcony overlooking the hills and the ocean. The owners were welcoming and helpful giving us tips on places to get breakfast and meals. The room was really big. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was included. We had complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. There were toiletries in the bathroom on arrival and there was a big walk in shower. The property was clean, quiet and just beautiful. We had daily housekeeping without having to request it which was great. We were able to access laundry facilities while we were there too. Gerringong itself is a little tranquil spot of heaven. It has everything you could possibly need in the form of shops. Each place we ate at was as perfect as the last. The food was amazing and the hospitality from the local people was incredible. The landscape is stunning with breathtaking views across the Pacific in one direction and across to the mountainous terrain in the other. The beach was just beautiful, clean and inviting with a walk along to the end of it taking you right up to the creek. There is plenty of wildlife to encounter. The atmosphere was so relaxed and laid back it was the ideal place to stop and recharge after the hustle and bustle of the city.

It had 2 separate bed spaces for 4 people and 2 long single beds. There was a sliding door to the balcony which allowed fresh air and a lovely outlook. It was quiet and yet very close to everything in the centre of town.
