“Yunoshimaken”
A very unique and memorable experience. We were welcomed to our room, donned our Yukata and spent the whole afternoon exploring the hotel. There really is a lot to see, as well as enjoying the beautiful views and relaxing onsen. We had the kaiseki dinner which was superb. I honsetly think I would come here again if I came back to Japan.

The staff are all lovely and accomodating; the young lady who was assigned to me spoke great english and did a very graceful job of serving dinner. The room itself was clean and spacious with a great view of the mountainside, with an open air bathtub that used hot spring water. There are more modern ryokans around but honestly the age and traditional style of the building just adds way more to the ambience. A super nice experience to just slow down, relax and disconnect from the daily slog. The bar is super cosy and there seemed to be a bunch of other activities like table tennis and board games if that floats your boat.

Simply perfect! Located on the hill, the ryokan building structure is interesting. It's fun exploring different part of the building itself.
