“A good value stay for a ski trip in a traditional Austrian hotel.”

Traditional Austrian hotel. Spacious hotel room with balcony. Lovely dining area and breakfast room. Ski garage and only a short walk to lift.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Great dinner and breakfast.

Charming hotel, very cosy, nice decoration, the staff was really nice. The girl who checked us in was very friendly, she even researched our home country because she had never heard about it before, that was so sweet of her. The man who took care of us for dinner was very funny and caring too. The dinner was incredible! We expected something basic (as it was included) but it was a 5-course meal!!! And it was delicious. Breakfast was remarkable too. The room was comfy (with the French translation on the website it was written 2 double beds, we only had 1 double bed, but all the rest was great so we didn’t mind that part but be careful if you re traveling with someone you re not close to 😅). Anyway, it was a great stay and we have nothing negative to say, we recommend it 100%

I am sure that the Sportalm Hotel exceeds expectations in the "price/performance" ratio - spacious room with balcony, refrigerator in the room, wellness, excellent food in terms of variety and quantity (we had half board), location of the hotel, garage parking included, free regional bus transport and 2 cable cars

“People and views to warm your heart”

Friendly, warm hearted staff, who made the effort to get to know us and chat. It was especially lovely that all staff spoke a little English, we really appreciated this effort. The day we checked out we were taking part in another guided hike. The hotel reception said that we were more than welcome to come back and shower at the hotel before our journey home. This was so kind and part of the exceptional service from the hotel . The hotel is part of the Aktiv scheme, so we joined all of the guided walks…… Our guide Bernd was extremely knowledgeable of the areas, and such a relaxed guy to be around. The hikes are so worth doing for the stunning views and friendly people at all of the Alms where we had stops for delicious food and drinks.

“I thoroughly recommend this fabulous hotel, and the beautiful mountains”

What a beautiful location, the mountains are absolutely stunning at this time of year (late September to early October) The hotel and village were pretty quiet as I didn't go in the ski season, but I was made to feel really welcome by the hosts. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, I particularly loved the powerful shower, especially after my long drive. The food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions, and the BEER was amazing, I bought a case locally to take home to the UK, unfortunately most of it didn't make it back, I couldn't help but drink it...lol

The hotel is located in the centre of the village with a 10 minute walk to the bottom of the main lift. As we were summer visitors we got a free local lift and bus pass which we made good use of. The hotel has an underground car park which was really handy for us. We went on a half board basis which was good value. Great breakfast buffet and a 4/5 course evening meal.
