“Superb Stay and Scenic Location”

The area is peaceful and tranquil, offering a genuine sense of escape. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, you can fully disconnect. It’s worth noting that mobile signal is very limited to non-existent, so be sure to download offline maps and any essentials in advance on your way in and out. The hosts provided clear directions in advance, and there are also signs along the way, making the property easy to find. The final stretch of road is manageable with a standard car—no need for a 4x4. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We had dinner on-site, which was a hearty, home-style meal and a real highlight. The room was comfortable, with lovely views over the valley, a cozy bed, and a shower with strong water pressure. After a hot day in the desert, the pool was especially refreshing. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommended.

A very picturesque location. Friendly and easy-going hosts, doing their own thing in a unique way. Clean and well equipped, comfortable beds and utilities. Would like to have stayed a bit longer. Breakfast and dinner are worth the extra charge.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mimi with Bernard and Priscilla. They both were such great hosts, they cooked great food and welcomed us so warmly after a few busy days in Seville and Cordoba. Priscilla made a special pasta sauce with local ingredients for our 12 year old son, who is a picky eater! Staying in Casa Mimi is like being on a retreat, so peaceful, off the beaten track and a great place to relax and soak in their new swimming pool!

The lovely and spacious room, the location (in a valley overlooking the village), how cosy the whole place was, how welcoming the hosts were. They also served us food that was amazing, one of the best meals we had in Spain!

If you like a quiet and remote accomodation, Casa Mimi is perfect. To watch the milky way at night was just gorgeous! To reach Casa Mimi, however, you must not be afraid of dirt and unpaved roads; it's a rather bumpy ride to get there :-) Very nice hosts, excellent breakfast and dinner!

Ben and Priscille are the hosts with the most! If you want to get away from it all, come to this very tranquil setting with fantastic views of the mountains and night sky. However, you are only roughly 30 minutes from Almeria, 1.5 hours from Granada and 15 minutes from Tabernas & Fort Bravo. You can be treated to Priscille's excellent cooking too!
