Big kitchen, many bathrooms, excellent views from our room.

We stayed for one night and the accommodation met our needs very well. Well equipped and close to the ring road.

The kitchen is well equipped. We booked this because the road was closed last minute due to the weather and we had somewhere to stay for the night. All 8 rooms were booked but we were lucky that only people of 2 rooms managed to arrive because of the weather so we were very comfortable .

The location and we saw northern lights just outside of hotel. We also met other people, chatted and shared with them with trips which was quite nice.

It’s good place to do glacier hike (about 4 min distance)

When I arrived at the property, I was unable to contact the host to get my key for approximately 40 minutes, despite trying multiple times. When they finally responded, the information they provided was incorrect. The property has multiple accommodation options, and I was placed in the wrong one — a shared farmhouse-style accommodation instead of the Reynivellir cottage 2 I specifically booked and paid for. The location I stayed wasn't even labelled on google maps properly, it was just called Reynivellir. The accommodation provided was not what was advertised or confirmed in my booking.

“Amazing location”

Great location! We visited diamond lagoon at night as the northern lights were active and in the morning again with the sunrise since it is only a 10 minute drive. There is also a waterfall on site. Everything was really clean and it was not busy in the farmhouse.

The location not bad

Very old and partially broken furniture in kitchen and bathroom. Totally not worth the money!

Hot water run fast out, so take a shower as soon as possible. The room was little bit cold.

It’s a really lovely place, and much more better than I thought.

There was a very nice and friendly woman at the reception who carefully explained how to get to the apartment. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, everything was modest, but clean and tidy.
