Rooms are lovely, recently modernised bathroom. Tea and coffee provided. Location is great and has parking outside for cars - we parked our motorbikes on the gravel outside the door. Only negative is since the hotel changed names there aren't any staff on site. You have to go to another hotel about 100 yards away to check in and get key and door codes. I'm disabled so that would have been awkward. As I was travelling with a non disabled friend they went over to check in and then check us out the next day, so it wasn't an issue. Other than that small inconvenience it's a great place to stay in Gerardmer.

“Great location and a lovely welcome.”
The location, opposite the lake and close to the town, is perfect. The room facilities and particularly the shower, were excellent. We had a very lovely welcome from the lady who seemed to do everything, and decided to take the breakfast, which was very good, and included freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon made to order. We very much liked this hotel.

A nice hotel with welcoming owner. Our room had its own balcony which had views of the lake. Breakfast and dinner were great. Good value for the location which was at the centre of everything.

The hotel was extremely cosy. The lighting, decor and seating in the lounge area was all perfectly done in wood and leather, with throws and blankets. The room was slightly small, but complete. It was spotless, with no sign of dust or damage. Will happily choose the same hotel next time.

Great contact from the hotel reception letting us know how to access the room outside their normal hours. Free parking outside. Balcony with lake view although we didn't use it much.
