Located on the edge of Gérardmer Lake and 2 km from the city centre, L'Echo du Lac offers a traditional-style restaurant overlooking the lake, a bar and en suite rooms. You can relax on the terrace. “Comfort and good location for the budget conscious”
Excellent location by the lake and very comfortable beds. We had a good meal at the restaurant one evening, and were happy with the quality of breakfast as well. They were welcoming to our dog, too.

Our corner room with excellent view to the lake was spacious. The room was very quiet since the windows protected us from occasional traffic noise. The value for money is excellent. Excellent breakfast with a great cheese selection. Very friendly and helpful staff

I really like the view from the hotels, the staff are friendly, we tried dinner once and it was good value of money, also the breakfast.

“Beautiful lakeside location.”
By chance we had a "large" room with side and front windows. The view over the lake was fabulous and the room was excellent. The restaurant was fully booked but they squeezed us in. Definitely worth booking. Breakfast had a comprehensive buffet. Quiet location with parking, and easy walk alongside the lake to the town centre.

“A good, friendly hotel by the lake, a short distance from the skiing resort, Nice restaurant.”
A very nice hotel, with a splendid location and good value for money. Very friendly staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. A good sauna area, though it has to be booked well in advance. WiFi good enough for streaming.
