Within a 5-minute drive of the beach of Gerani, Villa Athinais offers luxurious 3-storey accommodation with 2 fully fitted kitchens, spa bath and mini gym. It includes a swimming pool with sun beds surrounded by a well-kept garden. Athinais villa is decorated in colourful accents and features classic furnishings. It consists of 3 en-suite bedrooms, a spacious living room with fireplace and a dining area. Modern facilities include a computer with free Wi-Fi access, 4 satellite LCD TVs and DVD player. Each floor opens out to a big furnished balcony with views over the lush countryside and the Cretan Sea. The villa also features an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities. Upon arrival, guests receive a welcome package with traditional Cretan products, locally produced wine and olive oil, and fresh fruits. Within walking distance, you can find shops, taverns and super markets. The seaside resort of Platanias is 2 km away, while the scenic town of Chania is at 14 km. Free private on-site parking is available.

“Wow”

We food fresh fruit water and bread waiting for us, it was a nice touch. Villa has a lot of amenities, nothing missing

Stunning view from the house, quiet location, all the facilities we needed. Mary was a wonderful host, and helped with recommendations for shops, restaurants, walks and days out. We didn't want the holiday to end!

“Wonderful villa with spectacular views and amazing places to explore”
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at beautiful Villa Athinais in September. Mary was a brilliant host throughout. She met us at the property on our arrival and had a wonderful welcome package for us including her amazing homemade bread. The villa itself is wonderful inside and out and the views are really spectacular to the sea and the mountains and the beautiful countryside in between. There are so many different areas to sit and relax and eat and the pool and area around is just perfect. We had a brilliant holiday exploring the west of Crete from this great location and also spending relaxing days by the pool in the villa. Mary was so helpful with suggestions of where to go and great restaurants to eat at as well as helping us with making reservations. We really cannot fault our experience in this beautiful place and we hope to be able to come back again soon. Many thanks Mary!! :)
