Very nice and comfortable apartment with a private green yard, in a quiet neighbourfood. ! Its kitchen was very well equipped with all we needed for our 4 days stay. The beach is only 3 minutes away

We stayed in cottage 2 as a couple. The proximity to restaurants, beach, supermarket, and bus stop was great. The cottage feels private and it’s in a quiet area. It’s a nice place to come back to after Chania or a busy location. There are enough utensils to cook a meal easily. There’s a great restaurant opposite the cottage called Aelia and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend a meal there. Best food we’d had in a long time.

The cottage had a lot of atmosphere and everything we needed. The location was great for the excursions we had planned and the patio was lovely for having meals and relaxing. It felt a lot like staying in a thoughtful grandma's cottage!

Everything! We stayed in cottage no 4. We had a litle back yard with a lemon tree. The cottage is big, the kitchen has everything you need. There is also a parking spot in front of the house. At arrival, some water was in the frigde, just waiting for us. We have also found eggs and ice in the frigde. On the table there were bread, marmelade and other things for a quick meal. The nearst beach is with rocks, but you can see a magnificent sunset. Lidl and other markets are close. Thank you very much for a great stay!! By the way, we used the sun umbrella that one of the guests let there. It was perfect for us, since we came by plane. I hope it will be also useful for the next guests.

Great location, nice cottage, friendly host

Host was nice and very helpful. The houses have outdoor seating areas surrounded by greenery. Overall, a very nice place to relax.

There is a lot of greenery on the terrace, which gives relief on hot days .A very nice owner who takes care of her guests.

“Self-contained loveliness”

Self-contained bungalow or cottage style, with separate bathroom/shower. Everyone loves to talk to their neighbours in the evening. I also didn't bother my partner while she slept. WOW!. Nice terrace with garden furniture for drinks and smokes. Even got some welcome gifts in the fridge and on the dining table. Went to Lito Pool Bar often because I liked their swimming pool, but Tasos Cottages is better minus a pool.

“Charming”

We were very satisfied with Tasos Cottages Bed linen and towels were changed and cleaned every 3 days. Gerani is away from the crowded Platanias, but at the same time within a 20 minute evening walk. Buses run well in Crete and the bus stop is just around the corner. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The beach is 200 metres away. It is an undeveloped beach, even in early August there were never more than 10-15 people on the beach. We were looking for just such authentic accommodation, away from the crowds, so we were happy with everything. The host try to solve all your requests. Originally there was no grill, but she got one for us. It was a very touching gesture. I can highly recommend also the family restaurant, Tasos Family Restaurant, in Gerani centre, 400 metres from the accommodation. They cook very delicious food and always gave a very warm welcome. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. Thank you for everything!

Price/quality ratio. The cottage is very cozy, it has everything you need and you feel at home. In the kitchen you will find everything you need, and upon arrival you will find a pleasant surprise from the owners. Very beautiful and well-planned territory with lots of flowers and greenery. Regular and thorough cleaning with a change of bed linen and towels. The sea with a wide deserted beach is within walking distance. Food stores are also easily reached on foot. If you dream of a secluded and relaxing holiday in the authentic atmosphere of a Greek village, then this is the place for you! A wonderful and hospitable place! We would like to return here. I highly recommend it!

Our stay in Tasos Cottages was perfect. The house is located near the wild beach, which was perfect. Many restaurants, shops were at our fingertips. The bus station is 4 min from the room. As the bus connections in Crete are very good we didn't need to rent a car to visit more distant places. The city beach is located 15 minutes from the room but you can easily take a bus to go to another one if you want. The apartment is nice, quite big and clean. The housekeeping service was every 3 day. Our apartment had garden and we enjoyed there. Thassos' daughter, with whom we communicate, has been very kind and hospitable. The family also has a restaurant (Tasos restaurant) which serve excellent local food at very reasonable prices. I recommend everyone who likes a quiet holiday near the most beautiful beaches, good food and a relaxed atmosphere to visit Gerani and Thassos Cottages.

Location is perfect for those who want to stay in peaseful place but not too far from the main road, minimarkets, restaurants, sea and the beach. There is three cottage in same area, but all has its own yard and terasses. Cottage is surely made with love and it's very cosy. Front- and backyard have so many lovely plants and flowers, loved that. Cottage has all the basic elements and equipments you'll need to stay and enjoy your holidays. It's easy to explore nearby areas even though you don't have car, easy access to bus. Would absolutely recommend, what a lovely place!!!!
