Clean, new property on the beach. Cleaning every day. Swimming pool and sun beds available free of charge. Parking is relaxed, just in front of the hotel. Friendly staff.

The staff are super nice and accommodating. The place a sparkling clean. Breakfast and the food at the restaurant was delicious and felt like mama homemade. The hotel was baby friendly.

“Awesome place to be in silence”

Caretta beach is cozy, small and on the beach. Located enought, approx 1,5 kilometers, away from all the other tourists and hotels. We really enjoyed the silence. Nice people and nice weather.

“Extraordinary stay”

Our stay at Caretta Beach hotel was extraordinary. The staff was very helpful and friendly and offered their help even beyond accommodation (they've organised our rental car and, as such, made sure that we had a reliable rental agency). In addition they were very accommodating with children. We booked a room with sea view and it was just stunning. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Cleaning stuff was very kind and respectful. The restaurant is a great address - freshly cooked dishes with a sea view at reasonable prices, a great choice of dishes. Everything was perfect - from breakfast over snacks throughout the day up to dinner in the evening. The hotel is pretty small and is perfect for those looking for calm vacations. The pool was clean and suitable for small children up to adults. Sunbeds are available at the pool and as well on the beach (we always had some available). The hotel is located in quiet surroundings, you can reach several restaurants, as well as supermarkets and a pharmacy within a 10 minutes walk.

Spacious well maintained property, very quiet, away from all the noise, right on the beach. Staff were very helpful. You need a car to get around to see other places

“Worth of booking and enjoying :)”

Everything was just lovely! If you are wondering should you book this hotel, I’m telling you, you should ☺️ Everyone in staff were so smiley and helpful that we’ve never been in a such a warm and welcoming place. We got answers and help into every questions that we had in mind. Location of the hotel is maybe a bit far away from everything, but what is “everything”? Taxi from Chania about 50€. Shop and restaurant are very close and also hotel restaurant is very nice and good price. They have trips organized and buss takes you from the hotel. We even got a rental car into hotel with help of the staff. Rooms are nice and clean and cleaned daily. Sea few from our big balcony was fantastic! Pool is good size and fresh and clean, beach is lovely and sunbeds free for guests. Bonus was; Our guests got to spend time with us in the pool area and beach whole day while waiting their flight, thank you, we appreciated that alot! Also, there were real turtle nests in the beach and we got to see a baby turtle with volunteers who help them :)

“Incredible value for the money paid”

We had such a wonderful stay here! At breakfast, manager Roula was absolutely amazing – so kind, attentive, and always making sure everyone was happy. The girls helping her were also fantastic. Every morning they changed little things at the buffet, which made it feel fresh and thoughtful. The reception manager was just as kind and helpful, and the housekeeping ladies were lovely too – our room was cleaned every day, and whenever we asked for something, they happily helped us. 💕 For me, the attitude of the people makes all the difference, and here the staff are truly good, warm-hearted, and welcoming. The price per night was honestly the most competitive we found. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning, a terrace, and chairs to relax on. You can enjoy both the pool and the beach – every morning it was so quiet, never crowded. I loved watching the sunrise in peace and starting my day in complete silence. Pure relaxation! The location is also great – very close to restaurants and supermarkets. The beach is beautiful, with sunbeds available. Just bring beach shoes, as there are small pebbles and if you walk a lot your feet might hurt. Also, the water gets deep quite quickly – you step in and it’s already up to your chest – but we actually loved that, because it’s perfect for swimming! We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. 💙

“Amazing beach and super friendly staff!”

Location is close to the beach, easy buss rides to chania and mini market with fresh fruits nearby. Very peacefu and quiet. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Pool is amazing and beach was superb! Room was very spacious. Afrikan ter checkout they have baggage storage and showers.

We liked everything. The apartment was nice and clean with everything you need. The staff was beyond expectations: friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious. The location was amazing and we had a once in a lifetime experience to see the baby turtles hatch and swim for the first time. The owner and the hotel manager were mingling with us which made us feel as being part of their awesome family. We had the best holiday ever. Thank you, Caretta Beach hotel !

“Wonderful stay with family”

We had wonderful time staying in Caretta Beach Hotel. Nice and comfortable room, pool anytime and chill on the beach. You can eat dinner after swimming and take a shower at the beach after swiming in the sea. Early in the morning you can enjoy sunset at the beach. Very nice staff. We will definitely come here next time.

“A beautiful place over all expectations!”

Fantastic location! It's a pretty quiet place, which was perfect for us. The hotel has excellent staff that are service-minded and always helpful and an excellent restaurant with affordable prices. It's great possibilities to get around to both Platanias, Gerani and off course Chania for those who wants more noise. The rooms are nice and clean with big sizes. The garden areas are beautiful and well groomed. Always available sunbeds, both in the beach and around the pool. The beach has sand, and some places near with pebbles, which makes it perfect for both swimming and snorkeling. Even though there weren't to many kids of our daughters age, we found plenty of kids her age in the hotels nearby. We had a superb vacation!

In a very nice environ a well maintened hotel with a friendly and smileable staff. We loved the brekfast with the fresh pastry and plenty of choice. In the hotel we had everything we needed to relax: pool, sun beds, pool bar, proximity of the Sea, umbrellas.

Kind people and good place to have rest.

The hotel is placed next to the nice private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, it has a nice pool, the rooms are very clean, the personel is very helpful and kind, they take care about their guests a lot, the food is very tasty and in reasonable price, there are many markets and different restaurations nearby.
