It is a great place, the owners are really nice people and very accommodating and flexible. And the location is really great, you can have a quick deep in the sea first thing in the morning. And there is food and drinks available on location, which is also great.

The accommodation, taverna, swimming pool and beach give you no reason to leave. There are 2 supermarkets close by and the bus to Chania is easy to get to, as are other restaurants if you decide to venture out! Highly recommend for a perfect holiday in beautiful Gerani.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Hippokratis Apartments with our little son, and we can honestly say it is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Without a doubt, when we next return to Crete, this will be our first choice. The apartment had everything we needed - it was spotless, comfortable, and in an absolutely superb location right by the sea. The atmosphere was fantastic: the calming sound of the waves, the peaceful surroundings, and the genuine kindness of the hosts made our stay unforgettable. Lisa was simply amazing - always so friendly, helpful, and a joy to talk to. She made sure we had everything we needed, and often even more. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels every other day, which made our stay especially comfortable. The owners serve delicious food at very fair prices, and the whole family provides excellent customer service. Their children, who also help in the restaurant, were exceptionally polite and professional - a real credit to their parents. Their daughter’s singing and playing created such a warm and authentic atmosphere, which made the experience even more special. Our son absolutely loved the large swimming pool, and we loved the fact that every detail was taken care of. We honestly have nothing negative to say about this place - only the highest praise. We wholeheartedly recommend Hippokratis Apartments - a truly exceptional place where hospitality, comfort, and authentic Greek charm come together perfectly.

The property location was just wonderful; surrounded by the beautiful Med sea - private beach area with free of charge sunbeds only few steps away from the property's Taverna restaurant and large pool. Beautiful garden and all apartments with balcony and sea view. Very good food indeed and flexible menu - it was possible to "customize" the order a bit if needed. Privately owned well run property. Wonderful couple Kostas and Liisa taking care of customer needs. Rooms are quite simply furnished, one bedroom and a small living room with a small kitchenette. However, everything you need is available; air condition, fridge, coffee maker, stove etc. Nearest supermarket about 10 mins walk and to nearest neighbour (bigger) village, Platania it is just a short taxi drive about 8 euros. Reasonable prices for car rental.

Everything. The family that run it are brilliant. Nothing is too much bother. You are on the beach. walk out your door and onto the beach through the lovely restaurant and bar. The food is excellent. The rooms are basic but Lisa keeps them in top form. If you are looking for something fancy don't come here but if you want a brilliant relaxing beach break with brilliant food and service from the fabulous staff then go book them. small only six apartments with air-conditioning and TV.

A jewel in Gerani Charion! Excellent location, perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach & pool life with the family. Also a good spot to explore the surrounding parts of the western island (Xania, Kisamos are a 20min ride, to Elafonisi a 80min ride through the interseting mountain landscapes). Lisa and Kostas are lovely hosts, care for your well being and they are a perfect team in the kitchen when running the dinner business, the food, esp. the Cretan, is amazing and full of good taste! Part of the facilities are a bit dated and not top notch, but in our opinion it only adds to the peaceful atmosphere in this small family run apartment complex. Nevertheless it's very clean and heartly decorated!

Fantastic location, almost at the beach. The beach is there really sandy (on the other nearby beaches there are many stones), we saw turtle hatchlings :) The apartments are very basic but nice. Need some refreshments, coffee machine, toaster... But the owners are very friendly, there is a very charming restaurant and a pool.

Apartment was of a good size with two balconies with excellent sea view and privacy. Beautiful pool and bar/restaurant are right next to a lovely long stretch of beach with free sun loungers and parasols. Good location with easy access to local buses and six or so excellent bar/restaurants within comfortable walking distance. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lisa went out of her way to make us comfortable in the apartment and Kostas was an excellent cook (delicious fresh fish). Would be happy to stay here again!

- The facility sits in a tranquill area, with direct access to the beach, which is very close. If you don't fancy the beach, you can always choose the nice swimming pool. - My apartment was quite big: bedroom, living room (featuring a kitchenette), and private bathroom. - Staff wass helpful and nice. - On the facility's grounds there is a kiosk, run by the owner, where you can have fresh drinks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The options on the menu are quite a few.

The place itself is beautiful and located on a quiet part of the beach. The pool is lovely and the food is fantastic and among the best in the area. The room was adequately equipped and serviced every day. Would definitely visit again in the future!

We loved our stay at Hippokratis!!! When we arrived there we felt like we are in some beautiful dream, just on the beach..with the wind and the waves, and the beautiful view from the apartment.. Lisa and Kostas are AMAZING humans, they made us feel just like home, they provided us with everything we needed and the food they cooked at their restaurant was fantastic!!❤️ Kostas gave us some fresh figs from his garden the next day we arrived, they were delicious!!We traveled with our 2 years son and he had so much fun at the pool!! The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN!!! I recommend this place to everybody, but especially to the families traveling with their kids, it’s a great spot to relax and to get to any place you want to visit, so close to Hania and like 1 hour and 20 min from Elafonisi and Balos!!
